(Minghui.org) I have practiced Falun Dafa for 20 years and have experienced the power of Dafa many times. Master, the founder of Dafa, said,
“Whoever cultivates benefits, and if a person doesn't cultivate he won't benefit--nobody can cultivate on someone else's behalf.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference”from Teaching the Fa at the Conference VIII)
By chance, I was able to watch Mr. Li Hongzhi's nine-day lecture in May 1996. The more I listened to His teaching, the more I wanted to hear. Unfortunately, I did not get to finish watching all of the lectures because of a prior commitment.
Despite having seen only part of the lecture series, I benefited from Dafa. During a trip to the mountains, most of the tourists stopped halfway up the mountain and then went back down, while I made it all the way to the top without feeling tired, even though I was in my 50s. I was surprised, because I normally could only walk a short distance, as my legs would feel heavy and swell up.
On a shopping trip, I was given a counterfeit 10-yuan bill in change and did not notice it until I got home. I left it on the table for one of my family members to use. Then I looked at Master's photo and he seemed to frown. That night, I dreamed that I had fallen into a dung pit.
After I began practicing Dafa, a fellow practitioner said to me, “Why are you still wearing glasses? You have learned Dafa? Dafa is omnipotent.”
I decided to take off my glasses the next day, even though it felt uncomfortable. However, it did take a while before my farsightedness was corrected.
Now, my vision and hearing are still good even though I am in my 70s. People ask if I can read the small print in the newspaper. They are surprised when I tell them that I can even see the smallest print.
The right side of my face started to twitch in December 2015. This had happened before, but I did not truly look within. This time, my right cheek would twitch every five minutes, as though I was getting an electric shock. I also had difficulty eating and sleeping. I believed in Master and Dafa and didn’t acknowledge these happenings. I seriously looked within this time and the twitching disappeared within a month.
