Aug. 15, 2016 |   By Zhou Wenying, Minghui correspondent in Paris

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Paris, France, held activities on the Plaza of Liberties and Human Rights on Aug. 7, 2016, to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong. They collected signatures calling for an end to the CCP's state-sanctioned organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Many tourists in Paris learn about the persecution of Falun Gong on the Plaza of Liberties and Human Rights.

It was peak tourism season in Paris. Many tourists from different countries learned about the persecution by reading the displays and talking with practitioners. They expressed their support for Falun Gong, and signed a petition calling for an end to the forced organ harvesting. Some became interested in Falun Gong and learned some of the movements from practitioners at the event.

Antoine, a medical school graduate, and his friends stop to talk with Falun Gong practitioners. Antoine said, “I'm certainly against forced organ harvesting. It's horrible!...It's form of murder. I would like to sign.”

Jean-Michel said, “Forced organ harvesting is unacceptable! I'm glad you are exposing it and collecting signatures. I would like to sign to support you. It's the least I can do.”

Smaid, who works in a medical delegate group, signed the petition and said, “It's inhuman! No one can do this to other people's bodies, regardless of their race or religion. Even animals wouldn't do such a thing. But humans are doing it for money!”

Thierry, an employee of the city government, commented that organ harvesting was a crime against humanity.

Mr. Futhi, a local resident, said Falun Gong practitioners looked so relaxed and calm while doing their exercises. It made him want to do the exercises too. He thinks it's a good practice for people anywhere, and hopes people in China will soon have the freedom to practice again.
