(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 9 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 8 were illegally arrested.

1. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced

Mr. Chen Yourong and Ms. Liu Shuhui were each sentenced to seven years of probation.

Mr. Yang Chang was sentenced to a four-year term and is incarcerated in the Chongzhou Prison.

2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Jingzhe Sentenced

Ms. Wang Jingzhe, an official from the Dadong Local Tax Bureau in Heping District, was arrested at work on October 22, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. Police ransacked her home, and confiscated among other items her Falun Gong books and computer. She was sentenced to a six-year term on June 16, 2016

3. [Qingcheng County, Gansu Province] Two Practitioners Facing Trial

Ms. Wang Yuxia and Mr. Li Zhongjing are facing trial.

4. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Bofu Arrested

Mr. Liu Bofu of Shahe Town was arrested on the morning of August 2, 2016. Police confiscated his Falun Gong books and informational materials. He is held in the Laizhou City Police Department.

5. [Yuxi City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Mu Shaoqiong Arrested

Ms. Mu Shaoqiong was arrested at home on September 1, 2016 by officers from the Hongta District Domestic Security Division.

6. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Li Yonggang and Ms. Wang Ping's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Li Yonggang and his wife Ms. Wang Ping were arrested at noon on September 1, 2016 by Ao Yong from the Longfeng Town Police Station and officers from Yucheng District, Yaan City. Liu Guanghua from the Longfeng Town 610 Office was in charge of the arrest. The couple's whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Hua Ling Detained

Ms. Hua Ling was arrested on August 28, 2016.

8. [Chongqing] Ms. Che Huaijie Held at Brainwashing Center

Ms. Che Huaijie from Nanfanghuayuan, Shiqiaopu area, Jiulongpo District, was arrested in early August, 2016. She is held in the brainwashing center located in the guest house of the Jiulongpo District Transportation Bureau.

9. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Huang Dongmei Held at Brainwashing Center

Ms. Huang Dongmei, an employee of the Nanjing Industrial and Commercial Bank, was arrested at work on August 17, 2016 by officers from the Gulou District Domestic Security Division and agents from the Nanjing City 610 Office. She is detained in the Gulou Brainwashing Center.

10. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yin Lijuan and Mr. Liu Qiyan Detained

Ms. Yin Lijuan and Mr. Liu Qiyan of the Chemical Industries area were arrested on August 30, 2016. They were taken to Huludao Detention Center on September 1, and detained for 15 days.

11. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xuefei Imprisoned

Ms. Wang Xuefei was taken to the Dongling Prison in Shenyang City around August 20, 2016. Her family was not notified and was later denied visiting rights.
