(Minghui.org) Ms. Chu Zhanfeng was arrested by police officers from the Changling County Domestic Security Division on October 31, 2016. She was carried out of her home while still wearing her pajamas.

Ms. Chu is a schoolteacher in Changling, Songyuan City.

The officers ransacked her home and confiscated a notebook computer, printer, tablet, and her son's cell phone and school supplies, among other personal belongings.

She was reported to the authorities for distributing Falun Gong informational materials and was allegedly identified through a surveillance camera. Her family asked to see the evidence, but the police refused to show any.

Ms. Chu's family tried to get help from lawyers in Changling, but they said that they do not dare to take the case because of orders from higher authorities.

The police went to Ms. Chu's child's school. Her child was scared, became depressed, often screams at night, and has stomach cramps during the day.

Ms. Chu's younger sister went to the police department to see Chen Lei, head of the Changling Domestic Security Division. The officer who received her repeatedly shouted at her. The officer refused to give his name.

The police claimed that the sister "was making trouble" and threatened to arrest her both times she went there to ask for information.

Ms. Chu had many illnesses in the past but became healthy after starting to practice Falun Gong. She became cheerful and optimistic. Her students saw the difference and positive changes in her outlook on life.

Ms. Chu has to take care of her older brother, who is half-paralyzed. Since her arrest, the lives of her brother and her child have been severely disrupted.
