Two Endings Seen in My Dream: Consummation and Ruin

Jan. 15, 2017 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Taiwan

(Minghui.org) I recently had a dream about two different outcomes of my cultivation. I'm writing it down with a heavy heart in the hope that practitioners who have been attached to comfort, like myself, will become more attentive.

The first outcome was that I had passed all the tempering tests, fulfilled all my promises, and the black karma and hidden attachments all over me had been cleansed. I became a divine being. I stepped onto the huge Fa boat and saw countless people. The boat paused, heavenly music played, and golden light radiated. As the Fa-rectification reached the human world, iridescent light columns rose to the sky, each representing a Falun Dafa practitioner who reached consummation.

Deities in the three realms lined up and respectfully saluted the Fa boat. With Master in the lead, the Dafa disciples who had reached consummation looked down upon the human world. The countless people who had been saved were cheering. The magnificent celebratory scene became an important moment in the history of countless cosmoses.

The second outcome in the dream was that almost everything in the dusky world was destroyed. Too many Dafa practitioners had indulged themselves and were struggling. I saw many practitioners I knew. One was floating up and down in a puddle of black mud with many other people. Pointing at them, Master told me they were the practitioners who couldn't part with the past and with sentiments. Many practitioners struggled painfully but eventually became part of the mud. I also saw many animals. Some Dafa practitioners were living on fleas that fed on those animals. Pointing at them, Master told me that those practitioners had been carried away by worldly pleasures and their eyes had been blinded by the temptations. These practitioners had limited themselves in their tiny little worlds and were unwilling to break through. Some practitioners, like me, were struggling with the heavy karma on our backs.

Looking at me sternly, Master asked, “Do you think you are great? Is this true? Have you truly put in a lot of work? Have you done your best? Have you kept all your promises? Have you accomplished it?” I knelt on the ground, ashamed. “Master, I haven't done well,” I cried, with great remorse. But crying didn't help.

Looking up, I saw the Fa boat in the sky, gloriously radiant, but I was on my knees with nothing in the dusky world. I burst into loud sobs.

I woke from my dream soaked in sweat. It was 4:55 am, time for my daily morning exercises. I got out of bed and immediately wrote my dream down.

I started my cultivation last May and was diligent for a period of time, but I slacked off later because of our comfortable, relaxed environment. I know that Master doesn't want to give up on any of his disciples.

Master has told us,

“Whoever misses out on this historic opportunity, whoever misses out on this chance, when you realize what you've missed out on you won't even want to live even if you are allowed to!” (“Teaching and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference” from Teaching the Fa at the Conference III)

“The whole cultivation process of a Dafa disciple is a process of removing human attachments. No matter what it is you've experienced, as soon as you realize the problem just correct it immediately; if you fall, just get up and continue to do what a Dafa disciple should do.” (“Teaching the Fa at the Conference in Vancouver, Canada, in 2003” from Teaching the Fa at the Conference II)

The unforgettable dream helped me recognize that I have fallen short in many things and that I have to continue to make progress. No matter how hard it is, I want to do my best at the last moment of the last stage. I shouldn't be attached to how long until Fa-rectification ends. I need to walk well my path and fulfill my vows.

Thank you, Master!
