(Minghui.org) Practitioners who live in Flushing, NY gathered at the Taiwan Center on the afternoon on January 22 to wish Mr. Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Dafa, a Happy New Year.

Pactitioners from different backgrounds, Asian, white, and African American attended the event. Ranging from toddlers to seniors, all want to send their sincere gratitude to Master Li.

The celebration began with a color guard performance, followed by singing, dancing, martial arts, and music instruments. Young practitioners with ages between 2 and 10 sang a song titled “Young Dafa Disciples”. Practitioners who often go on the street talk to people about Dafa and the persecution in China shared stories and sang together to thank Master. A group of waist drummers played “Falun Dafa is Great” to conclude the event.

“Master has sacrificed tremendously for us. I will do my best to fulfill my vows as a Dafa disciple,” said one practitioner.
