(Minghui.org) Our home was located on the side of a road that had been built decades ago. It had become increasingly narrow, so the village head asked me if I had any objections to widening it. I said I had no problem with it.
But who would have thought that they would only expand the road on my side? I lost a sixth of an acre. The corn was already about 12 inches high, and we lost a portion of that in the expansion. When my sister dropped by, she couldn't contain her anger. She wanted me to meet with the village head and give him a piece of my mind.
My son arrived shortly later and also wanted to argue with the village head. He thought that I was being taken advantage of and that it was unfair. The road should be expanded equally on both sides, he said. So why was it widened only on our side of the road?
I knew that if they widened the road equally on both sides, the family across from us would be furious and make quite a stir. The result would be the same because the village head wouldn't dare offend that family across the way.
I felt that this incident wasn't coincidental. I am a Falun Dafa practitioner, so I shouldn't fight with people.

Fall quickly came. Although I had lost some of my cultivated farmland, my corn crop yielded as much as the previous year's bountiful harvest. Furthermore, I got the best possible price for it.
The village head told others, “You see, this family practices Falun Dafa. Who else could get such a good price?”
I knew that Master was looking after us, and this was the result of following the Fa.
