(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 6 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 8 were illegally arrested.
Ms. Na Lihuan and her family were deceived by Li Buhe and Qin Baoku, captains of the Domestic Security Division, Huolingol City Police Department; and came to the police department. Ms. Na was taken to an underground interrogation room to watch a surveillance video. The officers claimed that she was the one distributing Falun Gong materials in the video. She did not agree, and because they pressured her, she fainted. They called for a doctor, and finally let her family take her to the hospital. The officers demanded her medical records and 5,000 yuan fine from her family. Ms. Na is now home.
Ms. Wang Jianru was sentenced to 18 months in early December, 2017. She is being held at the Jinzhou Detention Center.
Ms. Mai Xuefang, Ms. Weng Ningfen, Mr. Gao De, and Ms. Li Fengnan were arrested and taken to a brainwashing center by officers from the Haijiao Police Station on the morning of November 28, 2017. Ms. Huang Chuanjuan of Lianzhou Town, Hepu County was arrested on the morning of November 6, 2017, and was released on December 1, 2017.
Mr. Shi Jinxing was arrested for telling others about the persecution of Falun Gong around March 10, 2017, and has been held at a detention center since. After many inquiries, news of his situation was finally heard at the end of November. Mr. Shi was secretly sentenced to four years in prison, and was about to be sent to a prison.
Mr. Shi has been repeatedly imprisoned for practicing Falun Gong and telling others about the persecution. He was once sentenced to five years.
Ms. Huang Qunfang from Sichuan Province was arrested at home in Boluo County by plainclothes officers on September 26, 2017. She is being held at the Boluo County Detention Center. The officers confiscated her notebook computer, printer, iPad, cell phone, and other items. Her husband was arrested and released 24 hours later after paying bail. Ms. Huang's case was submitted to court.
Ms. Wang Jiafang, in her 50s, was arrested. Her whereabouts is unknown.
Ms. Zhao Xiuzhen was arrested by officers from the Lujia Police Station in Nangang District on September 24, 2017. Officers from the Nangang Police Department subjected her to criminal detention after she had been detained for 15 days. The Nangang District Procuratorate then issued an arrest warrant.

Ms. Wei Lanying, 70, and Ms. Ji Huiying, 67, both from Jitai Town, were accused of distributing Falun Gong DVDs by the Changle County Domestic Security Division and the Procuratorate in 2016. The court sentenced them to two years and three years respectively in November, 2017. Ms. Wei and Ms. Ji appealed to the Weifang Middle Court, but their appeals were rejected.
Officers from the Changle County Domestic Security Division took Ms. Wei and Ms. Ji to a detention center on December 4, 2017, but had to release them because they failed the physical exam. The officers arrested Ms. Wei again on December 5, 2017. They tried to arrest Ms. Ji, but failed to locate her.
