(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or countries in 7 provinces. According to this report, 8 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 6 were illegally arrested.

1. [Guixi City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Huang Hongqiang Sentenced to Four Years

Mr. Huang Hongqiang was sentenced to four years for suing Jiang Zemin in the Guixi City Court.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xingbo Sentenced to Three and a Half Years

Ms. Wang Xingbo, age 70, lives in the Ganjingzi District. She was arrested on June 2, 2016, and sentenced to three and a half years in the Ganjingzi Court. She was taken to Liaoning Women's Prison on February 7, 2017.

3. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Suqin Sentenced to Two Years

Ms. Wang Suqin was sentenced to two years on January 27, 2017.

4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced

Ms. Wei Zaihui, Ms. Wei Zaixiu, and Mr. Chen Guangzhong were sentenced in the Shuangliu District Court on February 9, 2017 .

5. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Guizhi and Ms. Cao Chuansu Arrested

Ms. Wang Guizhi and Ms. Cao Chuansu were arrested on February 10, 2017, while they were distributing Falun Gong fliers in the Shazikou area. They were held at the Shazikou Boarder Police Station and transferred the next day to Pudong Detention Center where they served ten days’ detention.

6. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Dong Lijuan Arrested

Ms. Dong Lijuan was arrested on the afternoon of January 17, 2017, by officers from the Changgang Police Station. Her home was ransacked. She is being held at the Nanzhou Detention Center.

7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Guo Weixia and Ms. Sun Mingxia Facing Sentence

Ms. Guo Weixia and Ms. Sun Mingxia were arrested on January 29, 2016, while they were distributing Falun Gong materials. They have been held in Yantai City Detention Center for more than a year.

They were tried on October 24, 2016. Ms. Guo is on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. She is weak. The Yantai Development Zone Court informed their families that the court would sentence them on February 17, 2017.

8. [Jing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Jing and Ms. Wang Xiuying Arrested

Ms. Wang Jing from Wangqiansi Town and Ms. Wang Xiuying of Duqiao Town were arrested on the morning of February 9, 2017, by deputy director Ma of Duqiao Town Police Station. Their homes were ransacked.

9. [Laiyuan County, Hebei Province] Update Regarding Mr. Tian Kaishan's Arrest

Mr. Tian Kaishan was arrested in the Industrial and Commercial Bank (ICBC) on the afternoon of February 10, 2017, by officers from the Laiyuan County Patrol Brigade and ICBC.
