1. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Qu Luqing, Ms. Li Chunyan, and Ms. Chen Liyan were arrested by officers from the Tong'erpu Town Police Department on August 20, 2015. The three practitioners were held for nearly 10 months. They were tried at the Liaoyang City Detention Center on April 29, 2016. Mr. Qu and Ms. Li were each given a four-year prison term and Ms. Chen a five-year term. Ms. Li has been taken to Shenyang Women's Prison.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Arrested

Ms. Li was arrested by officers from the Guilin Street Police Station on the evening of January 23, 2017 for removing display boards containing hate propaganda against Falun Dafa.

3. [Jiutai City, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Jinghe Detained

Mr. Sun Jinghe from Shiyang Village, Shanghewan Town, was arrested on January 25, 2017. He is held in the Jiutai Detention Center.

4. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Pan Yujun Arrested

Mr. Pan Yujun was arrested at his home by five officers from the Tushan Police Station on January 27, 2017.

5. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Wu Haibo Taken to Sihui Prison

Mr. Wu Haibo was tried the first time by the Xiashan District Court on April 21, 2016. He was given a five-year prison term. He appealed, but the appeals court upheld his original sentence in January 2017. He has been taken to the Sihui Prison in Zhaoqing City.

He was arrested by officers from the Zhanjiang Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office in the early morning hours of December 3, 2015. He was held in the Xiashan Detention Center.

6. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Ji and Ms. Gen Ying Arrested

Ms. Ji and Ms. Gen Ying were arrested by officers from the Xinqu Police Station on January 26, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong in the Yangshanhuayuan Residential Community in Xushuguan Town. Both practitioners are held in the police station.

7. [Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wang Zhiwei and Mr. Ding from Nanxun Town were arrested by officers from the Huzhou City Domestic Security Division on January 12, 2017 while sending messages about Falun Gong via WeChat, a popular messaging app. Mr. Yang Xinchang from Wuxing District was also arrested at the same time.

8. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xie Yu Arrested

Ms. Xie Yu, 30, from Yiyang City, Hunan Province, was arrested by officers from the Binjiang Police Station in Guangzhou City on January 26, 2017 for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. Her whereabouts are unknown.
