1. [Beijing] Ms. Yan Hongyan Detained

Ms. Yan Hongyan, 38, a medical anesthesiologist at the Beijing Union Medical College Hospital, was reported to the authorities for talking to her assistants about Falun Gong.

She was arrested and taken to the Dongcheng District Detention Center for 15 days and was denied family visitations. Her home was also ransacked.

2. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Gu Guilan and Ms. Cheng Zhonglian Arrested

Ms. Gu Guilan and Ms. Cheng Zhonglian from Huailai County were arrested and taken to the Guanting Town Police Station on March 14, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong.

Both were held in the police station for eight hours. They were released after 200 yuan was extorted from their families.

3. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Yanying Arrested

Ms. Li Yanying, 70, from Miaojiazhuang Village, Yinan County, was arrested on March 9, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong at Xinji Farmers' Market.

She was arrested again on the morning of March 14, and her Falun Gong books were confiscated. She was released that evening.

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Feng Jinsheng's Family of Four Arrested

Officers from the Kuancheng District Police Department and Lanjia Police Station arrested Mr. Feng Jinsheng, his wife Ms. Chen Yihong, and their two sons, Mr. Feng Zhen and Mr. Feng Jinbo, on the evening of March 7, 2017.

The arresting officers ransacked their home and confiscated two computers, cash, and other items.

5. [Changde City, Hunan Province] Ms. Liu Hua and Ms. Xu Lian Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Liu Hua and Ms. Xu Lian from Li County were tried by the Li County Court on the morning of March 13, 2017. Judge Chen Shimin presided over the trial.

Ms. Liu was sentenced to three years in prison. Ms. Xu was given a three-and-a-half-year prison term.

6. [Shanghai] Ms. Shen Xiufang Arrested

Ms. Shen Xiufang from Qibao Town, Minhang District, was arrested on the afternoon of March 15, 2017. She was tortured in custody and is in poor physical condition.

7. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Ms. Ma Gui'e's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Ma Gui'e was arrested at her home by officers from the Hongqi Police Department on March 14, 2017. Her whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Two Practitioners Detained

Mr. Song Zhaoheng, 75, and two other practitioners, from Yushu City, were arrested by officers from the Zhengyang Police Station on March 10, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. He has since been released.

9. [Chongqing] Ms. Kuang Xinrong Detained

Ms. Kuang Xinrong from the Jiangjin District was arrested at her home by Li Dagang and other officers from the Degan Police Station on the morning of March 14, 2017. She was taken to Jiangjin Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

Ms. Dai Qingping was arrested by plainclothes officers on the morning of March 14, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong and distributing Falun Gong informational materials. She was taken to the Changsha City Detention Center and detained for ten days.

Ms. Xu Fengyun from the Chaoyang District was arrested at her home by plainclothes officers, who were monitoring her home, on March 13, 2017. Her home was ransacked.

Ms. Xu is being held in the No. 4 Detention Center.

Mr. Liu Hongjun and his son Mr. Liu Haitao from Chengli Village, Shouguang City, were arrested on March 13, 2017. Their home was ransacked.

Mr. Liu Hongjun was taken to the Shouguang City Detention Center. His son was released on bail on March 15.

13. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Zhiying and Ms. Liu Guilan Taken into Custody

Ms. Liu Zhiying, 65, and Ms. Liu Guilan, 52, were arrested on the afternoon of March 15, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong in the Dezhou Development Zone.

Both practitioners are being held in the Domestic Security Division of the Development Zone.

14. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ji Guiqin Detained

Ms. Ji Guiqin was arrested by patrolling armed police officers on March 8, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Liuzan Town Farmers' Market, Luannan County.

She was taken to the Caofeidian Detention Center and detained there for ten days.

15. [Shanghai] Ms. Meng Fanzhen Arrested

Ms. Meng Fanzhen, 70, was arrested at her home by several officers from the Domestic Security Division and 610 Office on March 14, 2017. Her Falun Gong books and informational materials were confiscated.

16. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Aiwen Arrested

Mr. Zhang Aiwen from Qinglong County was stopped at the Jianchangying Town checkpoint, Qian'an City, when he was driving to Tangshan City on the morning of March 14, 2017.

He was arrested by officers from the Qinglong County Police Department. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated a computer, two printers, and a paper cutter.

17. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wen Shuoyan Detained

Ms. Wen Shuoyan, 55, was arrested in Mingli Village, Yuci District, by officers from the Chengqu Domestic Security Division, Jinzhong City, on March 8, 2017. She was taken to the Jinzhong Detention Center.

18. [Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Li Yuhong Arrested

Ms. Li Yuhong from Xinjiang County was arrested by officers from the Beizhang Police Station on March 15, 2017.

19. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Changjin Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Wang Changjin was tried at the Yuhua District Court on August 9, 2016.

She was notified by judge Pan Hao on January 19, 2017, that she was given a one-and-a-half year prison sentence.
