(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 15 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 17 were illegally arrested.

1. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Yang Futian and Ms. Sun Jing Detained

Mr. Yang Futian and Ms. Sun Jing were arrested by officers from the Yuanbaoshan Police Station and the Domestic Security Division on May 25, 2017. The police confiscated a computer, three printers, and Falun Gong books.

Mr. Yang and Ms. Sun are being held at the Pingzhuang Detention Center.

2. [Beijing] Ms. Ren Wenman's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Ren Wenman was arrested by officers from the Heping Police Station in Shenyang City on May 24, 2017. Her whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Beijing] Ms. Xing Shuxiang Detained

Ms. Xing Shuxiang was arrested by officers from the Dashiwo Town Police Station on May 18, 2017, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home.

Ms. Xing is being held at the Fangshan Detention Center.

4. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Whereabouts of Mr. Chen Lei and Ms. Zhou Xiaoli Unknown

Mr. Chen Lei and Ms. Zhou Xiaoli were arrested by plainclothes officers from the Jiangnan Police Station on May 23, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Their whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Wei Zaihui, Ms. Wei Zaixiu, and Mr. Chen Guangzhong were arrested in May 2015 and sentenced in February 2017.

Ms. Wei Zaihui and Ms. Wei Zaixiu were each sentenced to seven years in prison. Mr. Chen was sentenced to a three-year prison term.

They all appealed, but their sentences were upheld at a second trial in April 2017.

Ms. Wei Zaihui and Ms. Wei Zaixiu were recently taken to the Longquanyi District Women's Prison, while Mr. Chen was taken to Jiazhou Prison.

6. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xue Wenwei Arrested

Ms. Xue Wenwei was arrested by the local police on May 22, 2017.

7. [Yuncheng County, Shandong Province] Whereabouts of Ms. Xiao Qiumin and Ms. Zhang Aiqin Unknown

Ms. Xiao Qiumin and Ms. Zhang Aiqin were arrested on May 25, 2017, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Their whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Dong Wenzhong Held at Brainwashing Center

Mr. Dong Wenzhong was arrested by officers from the Huangshi Residential Office on March 27, 2017, for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese leader.

Mr. Dong is being held in the Guangzhou Brainwashing Center.

9. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Twelve Practitioners Detained

Twelve practitioners from Qinhuangdao were recently arrested. They are being held at the Qinhuangdao Detention Center and the Detention House.

The practitioners are: Ms. Wang Haiyan, Ms. Qi Guizhi, Ms. Zhang Guiyan, Ms. Feng Sulan, Ms. Liang Jun, Ms. Lu Jiarong, Ms. Ma Fenzhen, Ms.Yang Suhua, Mr. He Zhirong, Ms. Pang Xiaohong, Ms. Yang Jinmei, and Ms. Cai Qing.

10. [Ningjin County, Hebei Province] Ms. Cao Xiujun Arrested

Ms. Cao Xiujun was arrested by officers from the Ningjin County Police Department and the Jichangzhuang Township Police Station on May 24, 2017. The police ransacked her home.

11. [Zhaozhou County, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Shuwen and Mr. Zhao Bo were arrested b Tuogu Township Police Station officers on May 24, 2017, and were taken to the Chaoyang Police Station.

Ms. Liu Zhuyun was arrested by Yushu Township Police Station officers that same day.

Mr. Wang Jingxue and Mr. Xu Jingjie were arrested by officers from the Yongle Police Station.
