1. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced Without Their Families Being Notified

Three practitioners were sentenced to prison by the Jiaozhou City Court on June 1, 2017, and their families were not notified. Mr. Qiu Yuanjin was given a three-and-a-half-year prison term, and Ms. Ge Jianzhen and Ms. Wu Xiaocui were each sentenced to a two-year term.

2. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Guixiang Detained

Ms. Yu Guixiang from Huajianzi Town, Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, was arrested at home by the Party secretary of a production brigade in Huajianzi Town and officers from the local police station on June 5, 2017. They ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and materials. Ms. Yu is being held in the Huanren County Detention Center.

3. [Beihai City, Guangxi Province] Mr. Li Jiliang Arrested

Mr. Li Jiliang was arrested and his home ransacked on the morning of June 8, 2017. Four new electric bicycles and all the electric bicycle batteries in his store were confiscated.

4. [Tianjin] Ms. Tang Zhongzhen Abused

Ms. Tang Zhongzhen from Baodi District has been forced to perform slave labor in prison for 12 hours every day. She was also ordered to stand for long periods of time as punishment. When her family went to the Tianjin Women's Prison to visit her on June 7, 2017, they noticed that she was in poor condition both physically and mentally. She has also suffered from insomnia for a long time.

5. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Original Sentences of Three Practitioners Upheld

The Qingdao City Intermediate Court upheld the verdicts for three practitioners on June 6, 2017. Ms. Wan Jin was given a four-year prison term and fined 6,000 yuan. Ms. Zhang Hongru was given a three-and-a-half-year prison term and fined 5,000 yuan. Ms. Li Xiujun was given a four-and-a-half-year prison term and fined 6,000 yuan.

6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Guowen Detained

Mr. Li Guowen from Wanshun Township, Nong'an County, was arrested by Song Lizhi, director of the Wanshun Township Police Station, and Li Xuefu, an officer at the station, on June 5, 2017. He was held in the Nong'an County Detention Center for 11 days.

7. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Rongzhi Arrested

Ms. Zhang Rongzhi from Beigang Town, Longgang District, was arrested at work by Zhang Zhe and other officers from the Zhaolitou Police Station at noon on June 8, 2017.

8. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Ma Hongshuang Arrested

Mr. Ma Hongshuang, an employee with the Bank of China, was arrested at work in late May 2017.

9. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xu Xiujuan Arrested

Yang Yong, director of the Beigang Town Police Station, and other officers broke into Ms. Xu Xiujuan's home and arrested her at noon on June 7, 2017. They confiscated a computer, a cell phone, a printer, and 50,000 yuan in cash.

10. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhang Zhiqiang Arrested

Mr. Zhang Zhiqiang from Tongnan District was arrested by officers from the Beizhan Police Station, Chongqing Train Station, the Chongqing State Security Division, and the Tongzi County State Security Division of Guizhou Province on June 8, 2017.

Ms. Miao Mingli was arrested and taken to the Weifang City Detention Center in mid-May 2017 for suing Jiang Zemin, the former head of the communist regime who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong.

12. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Bai Xiuyun and Son Arrested

Ms. Bai Xiuyun and her son, both from Matiyingzi Village, Pingzhuang Town, Guyuanbaoshan District, were arrested on the morning of June 8, 2017. Their whereabouts are unknown.

13. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Cao Arrested

Ms. Cao was arrested by officers from the Wenhualu Police Station, Lubei District, on the morning of June 7, 2017. Her whereabouts are unknown.

14. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Ding Shujun, 54, Ms. Tong Zhanmin, 53, Mr. Zhou, 67, Ms. Hong Yuying, 81, and Ms. Han Cuimei, 82, from Xiangcheng City were arrested by Jin Hai and other officers from the Xiangcheng City Police Department's Domestic Security Division on June 6, 2017. The practitioners' homes were ransacked.
