(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 4 provinces. According to this report, 2 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 10 were illegally arrested.

1. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Chunhong Arrested

Ms. Wang Chunhong from Hedong District was reported for talking to people about Falun Gong and distributing Falun Gong informational materials on July 25, 2017. She was arrested and her home was ransacked by officers from the Dongxin Police Station.

2. [Renqiu City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Yuping's Home Ransacked

Seven or eight police officers including plainclothes officers broke into Ms. Zhao Yuping's home in the area of North China Oil on the evening of July 25, 2017. They ransacked the place and confiscated cell phones, a desktop computer, Falun Gong books, and photos of the founder of Falun Gong.

3. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Wife, Mother-In-Law of Mr. Zhang Shouxiang Arrested

Mr. Zhang Shouxiang's wife and his mother-in-law from Caojia Village, Huanglou Neighborhood, Qingzhou City, were recently arrested at home by officers from the Beiguan Police Station, Qingzhou City, and the Huanglou Police Station.

4. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Yuhong Detained

Ms. Zhao Yuhong from a suburb of Zhaoyuan City was arrested and taken to the Zhaoyuan Detention Center on July 12, 2017. She was held for 10 days. Her fingerprints and blood samples were forcibly taken. Ms. Zhao was tortured on the Iron Chair. The officers confiscated over 150 yuan in her bag.

5. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Song Yue'e and Ms. Liu Haixia Arrested

Ms. Song Yue'e and Ms. Liu Haixia from Laiyuan County were reported for distributing Falun Gong materials in Dalu Village, Nantun Township, Laiyuan County on July 23, 2017. They were arrested and taken to the Laiyuan Domestic Security Division by officers from the Nantun Police Station. Ms. Liu was released the same day due to a health condition. Ms. Song was taken to the Laiyuan Detention Center where she was held 15 days.

6. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Yang Shaobao Arrested

Mr. Yang Shaobao from the Guitizhai area was arrested by officers from the Baitaling Police Station on July 22, 2017. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated eight Falun Gong books, 120 copies of Minghui Weekly, and an MP3. Mr. Yang was taken to the police station. He returned home in the afternoon.

7. [Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. He Pingping Given 1.5-Year Prison Term

Ms. He Pingping from Xiangshan County was arrested at home on September 30, 2016. She was recently sentenced to 1.5 years in prison.

8. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Cheng Lian Detained

Ms. Cheng Lian was arrested by Zhang Liping, officers from the Lingyuan City Domestic Security Division, and Zhao Rendong, an officer from the Goumenzi Town Police Station on July 26, 2017. The police confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun pictures, and copies of Minghui Weekly. Ms. Cheng was taken to the Lingyuan Detention Center.

9. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sha Jialin Detained

Officers including Chen Zhi from the Lingyuan Domestic Security Division went to Ms. Sha Jialin's home in Balipu Residential District. They ransacked her place on July 25, 2017. Ms. Sha was arrested and taken to the Lingyuan Detention Center.

10. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Song Xiangzhen Detained

Ms. Song Xiangzhen from the Wuchang area was arrested at a bus station by officers from the Shuanglong Police Station on July 26, 2017. She was taken to the Huludao Detention Center.
