Sept. 17, 2017 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Japan

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners from all around Japan held a parade in Shinjuku Tokyo on September 3 to introduce the spiritual practice and raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Dafa in China.

The parade was held on the day following the practitioners’ experience sharing conference in Tokyo. The procession started from Kashiwagi Park and was led by the practitioners’ Tian Guo Marching Band.

Passersby along the route were drawn to the orderly parade, and many took photos and videos.

A Japanese woman said she had heard some unfavorable comments about Falun Dafa in Hong Kong but changed her view after watching the parade. A practitioner explained the principles of Falun Dafa and how it has been persecuted by the communist regime in China for 18 years.

A Japanese couple offered a donation to support the practitioners’ effort to end the persecution. Practitioners politely declined the monetary donation.
