2. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Lianyi Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Wang Lianyi from the Yanqing District was arrested and detained by officers from the Dayushu Police Station on July 19, 2017. He was taken to the Mafang Brainwashing Center on August 18 by officers from the Yanqing Domestic Security Division and the Dayushu Police Station.

3. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Dongmei Arrested

Ms. Liu Dongmei from Shulan City was arrested and her home was ransacked by the local police on the afternoon of August 21, 2017.

4. [Tianjin] Three Practitioners Tried

Ms. Wang Sirong, Ms. Zhao Shuxia, and Ms. Xing Wei were tried in the Nankai Court on the morning of August 30, 2017.

5. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Zeng Zhaohua Arrested

Ms. Zeng Zhaohua, 71, from the Lishui District was arrested at home by plainclothes officers on August 22, 2017. Her home was ransacked.

6. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Yuxiang Arrested

Ms. Wang Yuxiang was arrested on August 22, 2017. Her whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zhang Suzhen, Ms. Jia Juying, and Ms. Xu Xiaomin from Honglan Township in the Lishui District were recently arrested by officers from the Jingqiao Town Police Station. They are held in the Nanjing City Detention Center.

8. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Gao Placed Arrested

Ms. Gao was arrested and her home ransacked by officers from the Nandajie Police Station, officials from the Neighborhood Administration Office, and members of the Xuanhua District 610 Office, on August 14, 2017.

9. [Guangzong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yan Xiuhong's Home Ransacked

Ms. Yan Xiuhong was arrested at home by Zhang Mengkan, head of the Guangzong County Domestic Security Division, and others on August 24, 2017. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated a desktop computer, a notebook computer, and a printer.

10. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Guo Menglan Detained

Ms. Guo Menglan from Qiting Town, Macheng City, was arrested at another practitioner's home on August 16, 2017. She is held in the Macheng City No. 2 Detention Center.

11. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Mr. Fan Hong Arrested

Mr. Fan Hong was arrested on August 16, 2017, for posting Falun Gong materials.

12. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Mr. Wang Changjin Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Wang Changjin was arrested by officials from the Jingwanzi Neighborhood Administration Comprehensive Management Office, personnel from the Fengjiachong Residential Community, and officers from the Jingwanzi Police Station on the morning of August 24, 2017. He was taken to the Laodaohe Brainwashing Center.

13. [Pucheng County, Fujian Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Zhaoli and four other practitioners were arrested on August 16, 2017. Three female practitioners were taken to Wuyishan City. Their whereabouts are still unknown.

14. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Chen Mingan Abused

Mr. Chen Mingan is being held in Weinan Prison. He was severely abused and developed serious illness symptoms. His family demanded that he be taken to a hospital. By August 22, 2017, when his family visited him again in the prison, he had still not been to the hospital. Prison officials refused to release him on bail because he would not give up practicing Falun Gong.
