1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Xu Xianda Tortured in Prison

Mr. Xu Xianda was tortured in the No. 12 Ward of Hulan Prison in July 2018. He was held in solitary confinement for refusing to wear the prison uniform, so the guards instigated criminal inmates to forcibly put the uniform on him. The inmates also kicked the handcuffs on his wrists and shackles on his ankles, causing excruciating pain. He was also not allowed to use the restroom for several days.

Mr. Xu went on hunger strike to protest. He ended up being taken to the Labor Reform Department Hospital in September. His current situation is unknown.

2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xu Guizhi and Ms. Liu Shuyun Detained

Ms. Xu Guizhi and Ms. Liu Shuyun from the Nangang District were arrested by Jiangshang Police Station officers while they were talking to people about Falun Gong on October 14, 2018. They were taken to the Harbin City Detention Center for 15 days.

3. [Bin County, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Cao Li, Ms. Ma Guijun, Ms. Sun Xiu'e, Ms. Qu Shuqing, and another practitioner were arrested by Fendou Street Police Station officers in Binzhou Town on the morning of October 17, 2018. They were released that afternoon.

4. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Shuyun Detained

Ms. Zhang Shuyun was arrested by the No. 7 Oil Production Plant Police Station officers on October 12, 2018. She is being held in the Daqing City Detention Center.

5. [Baicheng City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Xiuyun and Ms. Li Yangbo Awaiting Trial

Ms. Yang Xiuyun and her daughter Ms. Li Yangbo will be tried in the Baicheng City Intermediate Court on the afternoon of October 22, 2018.

Mr. Gao Jingqun from the Shenhe District was arrested at home by Zhujianlu Police Station officers on the morning of October 12, 2018. He is being held in the Shenyang City Detention Center.

Mr. Li Jinrong from the Dongcheng District was arrested on the morning of October 15, 2018. The police confiscated his Falun Dafa books.

Mr. Li is being held in the Dongcheng Detention Center.

Ms. Xu Meizhi was reported to the authorities for talking to people about Falun Gong on October 17, 2018. She was arrested by Chengguo Police Station officers and taken to a detention center.

Ms. Zhou Changlan from the Baiyun District was arrested on September 20, 2018. Her whereabouts are unknown.
