(Minghui.org) Before I started practicing Falun Dafa, I had many ailments and diseases, which put me in bed for 11 years. People around me all knew that I had lumbar disc herniation, gastritis, gastric ulcer and an intestinal tumor. Every day, I had pain from my throat to my stomach. I could not eat anything but a little rice broth. No therapy worked.

I lost a lot of weight, and the situation hit rock bottom in 1996. I couldn't do anything but wait for death. One day my sister came to see me. She didn't dare get close to my bed. Upon leaving, she told my kids to prepare for my funeral. My doctors also said that I only had two months to live.

In May 1996, a neighbor of mine introduced Falun Gong to me. She told me about a lot of medical miracles that happened to Falun Gong practitioners. I told her that I wanted to practice too. So, she brought me a copy of Zhuan Falun (the main book of Falun Gong), and read a section to me every day.

It was amazing that after we finished the book, I was able to get up, walk around inside the house, and eat something. I was also able to do the Falun Gong exercises with her.

I was very happy, and spent all my time practicing the Falun Gong exercises. After a few weeks, the tumor in my intestines was gone. During that period, I could feel that my body was being purified and toxic elements were discharged little by little. I felt relaxed, and became healthier.

One night I had a dream. In the dream, I saw Master Li Hongzhi (the founder of Falun Gong) pulling dark stuff out of my chest. It took a long time. Finally, Master Li waved his arm, and threw a dark rope-like thing on the ground. It was a dark person, thin and dry. Master said to me, “See, this is the old you.” It did look like the old me when I was sick.

When I woke up, I felt very comfortable. I knew that Master Li had purified my body for me. I couldn't help my tears, and I thanked Master for renewing my life.

I completely recovered after that. It has been 22 years, and I have never had any health problems since then. People saw the changes in me and witnessed the amazing power of Falun Dafa. They all support Falun Dafa, and some of them also started cultivation practice.

Falun Dafa not only renewed my life, it also brought happiness to my family. When I was sick in bed, my family had spent thousands of yuan on my treatments. They also needed to take care of me 24/7. In the last 22 years, however, I have babysat three of my grandchildren and do all the housework. My kids, therefore, were able to work in big cities. Our financial situation has improved dramatically. Again, I give the credit to Master Li.

My entire family appreciates Master Li. A few years ago, my oldest daughter took up Falun Dafa herself.
