(Minghui.org) Practitioners in Las Vegas held a Falun Dafa nine-day seminar at the Sahara West Library near Summerlin on May 20, 2018, and played the lecture videotape series by Mr. Li Hongzhi (the founder of Falun Dafa). More than ten people attended the free workshop and remarked how much they enjoyed it.

Larry Rush, a teacher who has taught art for more than 20 years, saw information about the seminar at the library and joined the session. Having seen practitioners previously and having learned the exercises at the Desert Breeze Park, he was glad to resume the peaceful practice. “It's time for me to do the exercises in the park again,” he remarked.
Security officer Ronald Hightower has been looking to practice meditation for a long time. After hearing about the event at the library, he decided to come. As he learned the first set of exercises, Buddha Stretching a Thousand Arms, he felt energy flow in many parts of his body, especially his left shoulder. “I will definitely come again,” he added.
Congratulatory letter from U.S. Senator Dean Heller on World Falun Dafa Day.
A letter was received a day before the workshop from U.S. Senator Dean Heller. He congratulated the practitioners on the 19th World Falun Dafa Day and thanked them for their contributions to the community.
“It is a tremendous pleasure for me to join with you in celebrating the 19th World Falun Dafa Day,” he wrote in the letter. He said that this occasion marks an important tradition that practitioners celebrate with family and friends.
“Enrichment of our spirit is among the most rewarding pursuits. We may reap continued benefits by incorporating fundamental tenets into our daily practices. Zhen, Shan, and Ren (Truth-Compassion-Forbearance) are among those principles which will surely guide us toward fulfillment,” the letter continued.
Senator Heller said he admired practitioners' efforts to improve their lives through their belief and introducing it to more people. “I commend you for your spiritual development and helping many individuals attain a positive impact on the quality of life throughout Nevada,” the letter concluded.
