Mr. Chen Yifei was arrested at his home on April 25, 2018. The police ransacked the place and confiscated his computer. Mr. Chen is being held in the Heshigten Banner Detention Center.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Chunxiang Detained

Ms. Yu Chunxiang was arrested on May 9, 2018. She is being held in the Yaojia Detention Center.

3. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Bai Zhaoxia Tried

Ms. Bai Zhaoxia from Suining County was arrested on the afternoon of October 25, 2017. Her home was ransacked.

Ms. Bai was held in the Sanpu Town Detention Center in the Tongshan District and was tried in the Quanshan District Court on May 4, 2018.

4. [Tianjin] Ms. Shao Shuyun and Ms. Gao Yanhong Detained

Ms. Shao Shuyun and Ms. Gao Yanhong from Nansibaihu Village in Daliang Town were reported to the authorities for talking to people about Falun Gong on May 8, 2018. They were arrested and their homes ransacked.

Ms. Shao and Ms. Gao were taken to the Wuqing District Detention Center.

5. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Kou Fangzhen's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Kou Fangzhen from Shuangcheng City was arrested by officers from the Shuangcheng City Police Department on the morning of April 19, 2018. Her home was ransacked, and a printer and computer were confiscated. She was held in the Harbin City No. 2 Detention Center for five days.

Ms. Kou and her husband were followed by plainclothes officers on their way home on the afternoon of May 6, 2018. Ms. Kou's whereabouts are unknown.

6. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Qinglei Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Liu Qinglei from Baliu Village in Guguantun Town was sentenced to two years in prison and fined 10,000 yuan by the Pingyin County Court in January 2018.

Mr. Liu appealed his case, but the Jinan City Intermediate Court upheld the original verdict. He is being held in the No. 11 Ward of Shandong Prison.

7. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Guaiyan, Mr. Xi Shuansheng, Ms. Qiang Huilan, and other practitioners were arrested by officers from the Jiangtanlu Police Station while they were studying the teachings of Falun Gong at Ms. Wang's home on May 8, 2018.

Ms. Qiang and other elderly practitioners were released at around 11:00 p.m. that night. Ms. Wang and Mr. Xi were taken into custody at the police station.

8. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Lian and Her Daughter Arrested

Ms. Wang Lian and her daughter from the Development Zone were arrested on the afternoon of May 8, 2018. Ms. Wang's daughter was released the following day, while Ms. Wang remains in custody at the Poli Police Station.

9. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zeng Youxian and Mr. Liu Arrested

Mr. Zeng Youxian and Mr. Liu were arrested by officers from the Chengdong Police Station, the Xindu District, on the morning of May 7, 2018, for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Xindu Medical College Residential Community. The officers confiscated their Falun Gong books and photos of the founder of the practice.

Mr. Liu was released later that day, while Mr. Zeng was detained for 14 days in the Xindu Detention Center.

10. [Huaihau City, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Yang Chunlan, Ms. Zhao Xizhi, and Ms. Jing Zhizhen were arrested by plainclothes officers from the Zhijiang Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Luojiu Town Farmers' Market on the morning of May 8, 2018.

Ms. Zhao and Ms. Jiang were released that afternoon, while Ms. Yang was taken to the Zhijiang Detention Center.

11. [Yangquan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Tian Detained

Ms. Tian was arrested by Chengqu Police Department officers on May 8, 2018, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Yangquan City Detention Center.

12. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Chunyan Arrested

Ms. Li Chunyan was arrested by officers from the Tiexi Police Station while distributing Falun Gong materials on May 6, 2018. She is being held in the Hegang Detention Center. This is the fifth time she has been arrested for her belief.

13. [Beijing] Ms. Lai Xiuchun and Her Husband Arrested

Ms. Lai Xiuchun and her husband from Xitiangezhuang in the Miyun District were arrested by officers from the Miyun Domestic Security Division and Xitiangezhuang Police Station on April 27, 2018.

Her husband has since been released, but Ms. Lai is being held in the Miyun Detention Center

14. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Yafan Detained

Ms. Yang Yafan from Jingyue Town was arrested at her home on April 22, 2018, and detained for 15 days. She was arrested again on May 8 and taken to the Changchun City No. 4 Detention Center.

15. [Fuyu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gao Xiujuan Arrested

Ms. Gao Xiujuan was recently arrested.

16. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yan Chunxiang Facing Trial

Ms. Yan Chunxiang will be tried on May 18, 2018.

17. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Dai Shubao Taken to Prison

Mr. Dai Shubao from Haicheng City was arrested on December 13, 2016, for refusing to renounce his belief in Falun Gong. He was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison on September 11, 2017, and was taken to the Shanyang City No. 1 Prison on April 26, 2018.

Mr. Dai's family has been informed that they will not be allowed to visit him between May and August due to ongoing renovations at the prison.

18. [Tianjin] Ms. Chai Baohua Appeals

Ms. Chai was arrested at her home on December 7, 2016, and has appeared in court three times—on July 14, July 20, and August 7, 2017. She was sentenced to a two-and-a-half year prison term by Judge Shi Xiujin of the Beichen Court around late 2017 or early 2018.

19. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Lina Sentenced

Ms. Zhao Lina, 31, from Qingdao City was arrested for her belief on November 16, 2016, while taking care of her two young children. She was first tried on July 19, 2017. Judge Wang Decheng sentenced her to three years in prison and fined her 5,000 yuan at the second hearing on May 8, 2018.

20. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Shaozhi Facing Trial

Mr. Li Shaozhi, 54, was arrested at his rental place in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, on September 22, 2017. Officers from Harbin and Changchun City in Jilin Province made the arrest.

Mr. Li was taken to the Nanguan District in Changchun for detention. His family was informed on May 3, 2018, that his case had been forward to the Nanguan Court a few weeks earlier, on April 22.

Mr. Li was previously sentenced to five years in prison in August 2006.

21. [Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Wang Binde and Mr. Shen Shusheng Put in Solitary Confinement

Mr. Wang Binde refused to participate in Jinzhong Prison's “Education for Reform” Campaign and do forced labor. As a result, he was put in solitary confinement for one month.

Mr. Shen Shusheng was also put in solitary confinement for not participating in the campaign.
