(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 9 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 6 were illegally arrested.

1. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Shuli Detained

Ms. Liu Shuli was arrested by officers from the Jinshaxin District Police Department on June 12, 2018, when she went there to deliver informational letters about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home and confiscated computers, printers, 500 yuan in cash, and other personal items. She is currently held at a detention center.

2. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Mr. Su Yucai Arrested

Mr. Su Yucai was arrested on June 23, 2018.

3. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guo Jinyan Detained

Ms. Guo Jinyan was arrested by officers from the Wuqing Detention Center and the Jianchangying Police Station on June 20, 2018. She is currently held at the detention center.

4. [Ju County, Shandong Province] Ms. Cui Jianxiu Detained

Ms. Cui Jianxiu was arrested at home by officers from the Ju County Police Department and the Xiaodian Police Station on March 8, 2018. She has been held at the Rizhao City Detention Center for more than 100 days.

5. [Changzhi City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Yanbing Sentenced

Mr. Zhang Yanbing was sentenced to a three-year prison term and fined 5,000 yuan by the Jiao District Court in Changzhi City on June 20, 2018. He is preparing an appeal.

Mr. Zhang was arrested by the Changzhi City 610 Office, Jiao District Domestic Security Division, and Luan Group Police Department on March 15, 2018. He has been held at a detention center.

6. [Xiangyang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Xing Guangming Arrested

Mr. Xing Guangming was arrested by officers from the Pingxiangmen Police Station in the Fancheng District on June 7, 2018. He is currently held at the No. 2 Detention Center.

7. [Yiyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Li Aiguo's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Li Aiguo was arrested by plainclothes officers on June 24, 2018, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. His whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Baojing County, Hunan Province] Five Practitioners Sentenced

Five practitioners were sentenced by the Baojing County Court on April 4, 2018. Their sentences are as follows:

Ms. Wu Minglian, 50, three years in prison, a fine of 10,000 yuan;Ms. Wu Mingxiang, 69, two years, 8,000 yuan;Mr. Ding Lin, 49, two years, 8,000 yuan;Ms. Xiang Jiayu, 80, a year, 6,000 yuan;Ms. Li Shunzhen, 55, a year, 6,000 yuan.

On May 28, 2018, the Xiangxi Intermediate Court upheld their sentences. Ms. Wu Minglian, Ms. Wu Mingxiang, and Ms. Xiang were taken to the Changsha City Women's Prison by officers from the Boajing County Police Department around June 12. Ms. Li failed a physical checkup and was allowed to serve her sentence outside of prison. Ms. Ding's whereabouts are unknown.

9. [Shantou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Zheng Minghui Persecuted

Mr. Zheng Minghui was arrested on March 24, 2016 and sentenced to five-year prison term in November 2017.

While imprisoned at Sihui Prison, Mr. Zheng was subjected to severe torture; as a result he suffered serious physical and mental injuries.

10. [Qinzhou City, Guangxi] Mr. Li Jinhe's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Li Jinhe was arrested and taken to the Qinzhou City Detention Center on May 31, 2018. He was transferred to a brainwashing center 15 days later. His current whereabouts are unknown.

11. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Xia Taiming's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Xin Tainming's whereabouts have been unknown for ten years.

Mr. Xia was arrested and detained for 15 days in December 1999, for going to Beijing to appeal. In 2005, he was monitored by officers from the 610 Office for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Later he had to leave home to avoid further persecution. Since the end of 2008, his whereabouts have been unknown.
