Mr. Tang Weimin, 50, was arrested at home by officers from the Xuhui District Domestic Security Division on August 7, 2018. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated his computer and other personal items. He was taken to the Xuhui District Detention Center.

2. [Beijing] Ms. Wen Junqing and Ms. Zhao Guixiang Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Wen Junqing and Ms. Zhao Guixiang from the Yanqing District were tried in the Yanqing District Court on June 26, 2018. Ms. Wen was sentenced to a two-year prison term and Ms. Zhao to a seven-year term on August 9.

Ms. Li Qingxia was arrested and taken to a detention center by officers from the Huachang Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of August 10, 2018.

Ms. Yang Yufang, Mr. Xie Changchun, and Ms. Zhang Tingfeng from Xiangyang Town were arrested for talking to people about Falun Gong on August 10, 2018. Ms. Yang's scooter was confiscated. All three were taken to the Xindu Detention Center and held for five days.

Ms. Liu Fengying, 76, was arrested on July 18, 2018.

7. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Gao Zonghua's Case Turned Over to Court

Ms. Gao Zonghua, in her 80s, was arrested near the Jindatang area on March 4, 2018, by Shenglilu Police Station officers for talking to people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked. Her case was turned over to the Shushan District Court on July 20.

Mr. Zhang Xumin from Feicheng City, was in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region looking after his grandchild. He was arrested by the Feicheng City police. His whereabouts are unknown. His wife Ms. Liu Qian was also arrested.

9. [Feicheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Ma Zhongtang's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Ma Zhongtang was arrested by officers from the Taohuayuan Police Station on June 8, 2018. His whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Yangquan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Yang Guihua Arrested

Ms. Yang Guihua was arrested by officers from the Yangquan City Police Department on August 6, 2018, for distributing Falun Gong materials.

11. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Xu Tong Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Xu Tong, a teacher at the Zhanjiang City No. 17 Middle School, was arrested on the evening of August 6, 2018. He was taken to the Zhanjiang City Brainwashing Center.

12. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Yang Given Arrested

Mr. Yang, 78, from Guitizhai Village in the Haigang District was arrested at home by officers from the Caigezhuang Police Station on August 12, 2018. He was taken to the Qinhuangdao Police Department Hospital. The police are scheming to have him sentenced to four years in prison.

Ms. Wang Qiong from the Shashi District was arrested by officers from the Haoxue Town Police Station in Jiangling County on the morning of August 12, 2018. She was taken to the Jianli County Detention Center.

Ms. Yang Biqiong and Ms. Yuan Youzhi, in her 70s, were reported for talking to people about Falun Gong on August 3, 2018. They were arrested. Ms. Yuan was released due to her age. Ms. Yang was held in a detention center for 15 days. She has returned home.
