Unable to Eat For 14 Months, Incapacitated Man Denied Medical Parole and Moved to a Different Prison

Sept. 4, 2018 |   By a Minghui correspondent in Heilongjiang Province, China

(Minghui.org) It has been 14 months since Mr. Liu Fubin began having trouble eating and drinking in June 2017. He has symptoms of organ failure and is incapacitated.

Mr. Liu is serving a ten-year prison sentence for refusing to renounce Falun Gong, a mind-body practice being persecuted by the Chinese communist regime. His family filed multiple requests to have him released on medical parole, but Tailai Prison repeatedly denied their requests.

It was recently learned that Mr. Liu was transferred from Tailai Prison to Qiqihar Prison in Heilongjiang Province, along with dozens of other Falun Gong practitioners and more than 1,000 inmates on August 17, 2018.

According to his family, who visited him recently at Qiqihar Prison, he is still unable to eat and is extremely weak. He was carried in and out of the visitation room. His body weight had dropped to around 60 pounds. They are very worried about him.
