(Minghui.org) Seven Falun Gong practitioners in Tianjin were harassed, arrested, or had their homes ransacked by the police on December 12 and 13, 2018. The practitioners arrested included Mr. Zhao Wannian, Ms. Huang Yu’e, and Ms. An Chunyun. Those harassed were Mr. Guo Yonghong, Ms. Bai Shuqing, Ms. An Chunrong, and Ms. Li Yanxia.

Ms. An Chunyun

Ms. An Chunyun was about to drive to the market on the morning of December 12 when twelve agents suddenly swarmed out of nearby cars and dragged her out of her pickup. They handcuffed her, took her to the Shangguling Police Station, and detained her.

Agents also broke into Ms. An's home to ransack it. When her husband resisted, two officers restricted him. The police seized a computer and some Falun Gong books.

Mr. Zhao Wannian

Officers from the Dagang District Domestic Security Division went to Mr. Zhao's home in three police cars on the morning of December 12 and arrested him when he was going to the market. The police ransacked his home and seized a computer, his cell phone, and a few calendars with information about Falun Gong printed on them. They took Mr. Zhao to the Taiping Town Police Station. He was later taken to the No. 3 Detention Center in the Binhai New District and detained.

Ms. Huang Yu’e

Eight officers from the Dagang District Domestic Security Division, Hongqilu Police Station, and the neighborhood committee broke into Ms. Huang's home and arrested her and her non-practitioner husband at 7:30 a.m. on December 12. They ransacked her home and detained Ms. Huang at the No. 3 Detention Center in the Binhai New District. Her husband was later released.

Practitioners Harassed

Ten officers, including Domestic Security agents, Internet monitors, and local police illegally entered Mr. Guo Yonghong's home at 7:30 a.m. on December 12, 2018. They demanded to see Mr. Guo's cell phone to check if it contained censor-bypassing software. Mr. Guo told them the facts about Falun Gong and resisted their demands. The police forcibly confiscated two Falun Gong books and a photo of the founder of Falun Gong and left.

The police knocked on the doors of Ms. Bai Shuqing's and Ms. An Chunrong's homes on Dagang Street for a long time.

They ransacked practitioner Ms. Li Yanxia's home in Tanggu (Binhai New District) on the morning of December 13, 2018.
