(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 16 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Beijing] Mr. Li Yiheng and Mr. Li Zhanjin Arrested

Mr. Li Yiheng, 36, was arrested at work in Peking University on September 19, 2019. He is being held in the Yizhuang Detention Center.

Mr. Li Zhanjin was arrested by officers from the Haidian District Police Department and the Yanyuan Police Station on the morning of September 29. His home was ransacked, and the officers videotaped the whole process. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, informational materials, and a computer. Mr. Li was taken to the Law Enforcement Committee of the Haidian District Police Department, and interrogated.

2. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Jialu Arrested

Ms. Wu Jialu, 27, was recently arrested in Beijing. Her whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Li Shanji, in her 70s, Ms. Zhu Zhenzi, and Mr. An Changguo, were arrested on September 5, 2019. They are being held in the Yanji City Detention Center. Ms. Li was in good health prior to her arrest, but since her detention is now bound to a wheelchair.

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yafen Detained

Ms. Wang Yafen from the Jiutai District was arrested at home by three police officers on September 27, 2019. She is being held in a detention center for five days.

5. [Jianchang County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Chen Wanlin Detained

Mr. Chen Wanlin from Toudaoyingzi Township was recently arrested by officers from the Toudaoyingzi Police Station. He was taken to a detention center.

6. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Qiang and His Wife Ms. Lu Sha Arrested

Mr. Wang Qiang and his wife Ms. Lu Sha were arrested at home on September 23, 2019.

7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Yuying Passes Away; Her Home Ransacked Twice This Year

Ms. Sun Yuying, in her 80s, from the Shahekou District, passed away in August 2019. Officers from the Shahekou Domestic Security Division and the local police station ransacked her home twice this year, and confiscated Falun Dafa related materials, and 10,000 yuan in cash.

The first time Ms. Sun was arrested was on June 28, 2016. Plainclothes officers broke into her home, and arrested her when she was sleeping. She was taken to the Shahekou Police Department, and held for over 12 hours.

8. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Zhenhong Detained

Mr. Wang Zhenhong from She County was reported to the Pangqi Police Station by residential community personnel. He was arrested on August 16, 2019, and held in custody for 37 days, before being transferred to the Xiqing District Detention Center.

Mr. Wang is an employee at the Tianjin Iron Factory.

9. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yin Feng Officially Arrested

Mr. Yin Feng from the Laiwu District was arrested by officers from the Dongzhan Police Station on August 19, 2019. He was taken to the Beibu Detention Center, and officially placed under arrest by the Laiwu Procuratorate on August 29.

10. [Qingyun County, Shandong Province] Ms. Du Xiaojing Detained

Ms. Du Xiaojing, who works in a restaurant in Wudi County, was reported to the authorities for talking to the customers about Falun Gong. She was arrested by the Wudi police, and is being held in the Dezhou Detention Center.

11. [Xiangyang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Li Huanyun and Ms. Zhu Jiaoying Arrested

Mr. Li Huanyun and Ms. Zhu Jiaoying were arrested by officers from the High-tech Zone Domestic Security Division and the Tuanshan Town Police Station on the afternoon of September 16, 2019.
