Malaysia: Falun Gong Practitioners Put on Four Chinese New Year Parades

March 8, 2019 |   By a Falun Gong practitioner in Malaysia

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Malaysia held four parades to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The local people enjoyed watching the parades. Most importantly, the practitioners raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution.

The parades were held in four towns, including Ipoh, the capital of Perak State, Kanthan Baru where there are many Chinese residents, Batu 11, Cheras, and Cheras Traders Square.

Carlos said, “Wonderful! Colorful and delightful celebration.” Edgar concurred, “Great. As my friend said, colorful. Very good!”

After seeing the Falun Gong flier, Carlos said, “I have not read the Falun Gong book Zhuan Falun. It looks like a very good book. We will try to read it.”

He condemned the CCP's persecution, “Any persecution in this world should not be allowed – we should live in peace.”

Edgar said after learning about the cultivation practice, “This is a very good practice. Everyone should try it, as it benefits people and the community.”

Upon learning about the CCP's persecution he condemned the state-sanctioned organ harvesting from living practitioners. He said, “This must stop!”

More People Must Hear About the Persecution of Falun Gong

Ms. Yu and her husband

Yu Mei-lan is from Taiwan, and immigrated to Malaysia 25 years ago to get married. She was touched by the new year parade, and grateful to the practitioners for arranging the event.

Yu learned about the persecution of Falun Gong from Facebook. She was shocked that the CCP harvests organs from living practitioners.

She said, “We don't know much about the human rights abuse, as we are not exposed to it, and it is not covered by the news.”

She said she believes that this will become more well-known, as the Internet has become so developed. She wished the Falun Gong practitioners a happy New Year.

Two Parades in Cheras

Falun Gong practitioners held two parades in Batu 11, Cheras and Cheras Traders Square on February 17, 2019.
