(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 9 provinces, where at least 21 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief. Three of these practitioner's whereabouts are currently unknown.

1. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Ji Hongbo Facing Trial

Mr. Ji Hongbo is due to be tried by the Ranghulu District Court on the morning of April 1, 2019.

2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Tian Xilian Officially Arrested

Ms. Tian Xilian, 66, from West Chaoyang Road, was arrested by officers from the Chaowai Police Station in the Chaoyang District on July 29, 2018. She was held in the Chaoyang Detention Center.

Ms. Tian was later officially placed under arrest. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liao Jie Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Liao Jie, 54, was arrested on August 2, 2018, and sentenced to four years in prison by the Zhuanghe City Court. He has appealed to the Dalian City Intermediate Court.

4. [Qingyuan County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Guilian and Mr. Wang Wenxiao Detained

Ms. Li Guilian and Mr. Wang Wenxiao from Wenren Township were arrested by officers from the Ranzhuang Town Police Station on the morning of March 26, 2019, when they were distributing Falun Gong materials at the Yangzhuang Village Farmers' Market in Ranzhuang.

Both practitioners were taken to the Baoding Detention Center for 15 days and 13 days respectively.

5. [Nanpi County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Xuemei Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xuemei was arrested at home on the morning of March 29, 2019. Her residence was ransacked.

6. [Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Jie and Mr. Wei Yanjing Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Liu Jie from the Xuecheng District was sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term and fined 30,000 yuan by the Xuecheng District Court on January 23, 2019. He appealed to the Intermediate Court.

Mr. Wei Yanjing was sentenced to a nine-month prison term and fined 5,000 yuan. He has since returned home.

7. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Hou Shuxian and Ms. Li Xiuyun Arrested

Mr. Hou Shuxian and Ms. Li Xiuyun were arrested by two patrol officers when they were talking to people about Falun Gong on the morning of March 28, 2019. They were taken to the Shuangdao Border Police Station.

The police ransacked their homes and confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, computers, and printers.

8. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Ji Lilai and his wife Ms. Shi Yuexiang were arrested by officers from the Mengyin County Police Department and Taoxu Town Police Station on March 22, 2019. The two practitioners were taken to the Mengyin Detention Center. Mr. Ji failed the physical exam and was allowed to go home after his family was forced to pay 10,000 yuan. Ms. Shi was kept in detention.

Ms. Sui Xueying from Qiancheng Village was also arrested on the same day.

9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Chen Zuxin Detained

Mr. Chen Zuxin, from Tanshu Village in the Caidian District, was arrested at home in mid-November 2018. He is being held in the Bolin Detention Center, Caidian District.

10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Yi Arrested

Mr. Zhang Yi was arrested at home on March 28, 2019.

11. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhang Fuming and Ms. Zhao Yiqun Arrested

Mr. Zhang Fuming and Ms. Zhao Yiqun from the Jiangjin District were reported to the authorities by a store owner, when they were talking to people about Falun Gong at the Dingshan Park on March 10, 2019. They were arrested. Their whereabouts are unknown.

12. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Xiangling's Case Turned Over to Procuratorate

Ms. Huang Xiangling from the Xindu District was arrested on November 22, 2018. Her case has been filed at the Prosecution Section of the Xindu Procuratorate.

Ms. Xu Fang and Ms. Cui Hong were arrested on March 29, 2018. They were taken to the Qiannan Prefecture Women's Detention Center.

14. [Yanchi County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Song Laiping Taken to Prison

Mr. Song Laiping, 67, was transferred from the Ningxia Prison to the Shizuishan Prison.
