I Lost My Daughter Three Times in My Dreams

June 9, 2019 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Hebei Province, China

(Minghui.org) Throughout the cultivation process, Master has given me many hints to help me find my attachments and gaps. Recently, I've had three dreams about losing my daughter, which made me realize that I should not be addicted to my phone.

I had long been hooked on my phone. I used it to watch news, TV series, and shop. I found great pleasure in buying products on sale and would be very uncomfortable if I hadn't looked at shopping sites for a few days.

My first dream was that my daughter and I were running along the two sides of a river bank. I shouted to tell her where to go. When I climbed over to her side of the river and was about to reach her, I woke up.

The second time my daughter was lost when my bodyguard went to pick her up from school. I was scared when he told me the sad news. I knew that I had Master and that I would definitely find my daughter. I got my whole family out to look for her and then woke up before we found her.

I looked within after the two dreams. Each time I felt that I lost my daughter because I was not diligent enough in cultivation. However, after being diligent in studying the Fa for a few days, I resumed my previous state and continued playing with my phone and buying things online.

Then I had a third dream. My daughter and I were walking. She was talking to me but I was busy with my phone. I asked her to walk faster. Then when I looked back, she was gone! I was very scared.

In that dream, I asked Master for help and swore not to touch my phone anymore. Then my mom and I went house by house to ask if they had seen my daughter. When we came to a shabby house, an old man opened the door. We heard the cries of small kids. We went in and saw an old woman holding a girl and trying to comfort her so that she would stop crying. Then we found some children coming out. My daughter was among them. I woke up.

I felt that this was a serious issue and decided to share it with fellow practitioners. We cannot afford to be addicted to mobile phones and online shopping. It will ruin not only ourselves, but also our own children, as well as the sentient beings in our world and their worlds.
