(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 9 provinces, where at least 21 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

2. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Deng Chuanjiu Sentenced to Prison
3. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yu Jingfang Arrested
4. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Mr. Nie Pengge Arrested
5. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Qingkong and Ms. Li Hongmei’s Homes Ransacked
6. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Xiaohua Sentenced to a Four-Year Prison Term
7. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Pan Shuihua's Whereabouts Unknown
8. [Donghai County, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Yamin in Critical Condition

1. [Beijing] Ms. Xiao Fengwen and Ms. Lang Dongyue Arrested

Ms. Xiao Fengwen from the Huajiadi Residential Community in the Chaoyang District was sentenced to a two-year prison term on March 2, 2019, but was later released. She was arrested again on July 2.

Ms. Lang Dongyue from the Yanqing District was arrested in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, on July 4. She is being held in the Zhangjiakou Police Station.

2. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Deng Chuanjiu Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Deng Chuanjiu was tried and sentenced to a four-year prison term on July 9, 2019.

3. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yu Jingfang Arrested

Ms. Yu Jingfang, 65, from the Qingxiangping Residential Community in the Xi District was arrested by officers from the Dongqu Police Station on the morning of July 6, 2019, when she was distributing information about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked that afternoon, but the officers did not find anything incriminating.

4. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Mr. Nie Pengge Arrested

Mr. Nie Pengge, 51, from Niexiaoyingzi Village, Gugou Township in the Panji District, was arrested in Jiangsu Province on April 20, 2019. He was brought back by officers from the Gugou Police Station that day. He was held in Huainan City.

5. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Qingkong and Ms. Li Hongmei’s Homes Ransacked

Two officers from the Wutu Neighborhood Police Station broke into Ms. Li Qingkong’s home in Gaojiazhuang Village and ransacked it on the morning of July 5, 2019. They confiscated a copy of Zhuan Falun, three copies of Master’s lectures, and four copies of Minghui Weekly.

Officer Liu Duping and others from the Wutu Neighborhood Police Station broke into Ms. Li Hongmei’s home in Shirenpo Village and ransacked it on the morning of July 6. They confiscated two Falun Gong books. Ms. Li is disabled and cannot take care of herself.

6. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Xiaohua Sentenced to a Four-Year Prison Term

Ms. Yang Xiaohua was sentenced to a four-year prison term on May 10, 2019.

7. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Pan Shuihua's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Pan Shuihua from Minzhu Village, Shahe Town, was arrested by patrol officers on the morning of July 9, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Huibu Police Station.

The police forced her family to pay 300 yuan for a check-up fee that afternoon. Ms. Pan’s whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Donghai County, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Yamin in Critical Condition

Ms. Wang Yamin was held in the Lianyungang City Detention Center. She went on a hunger strike and is now in critical condition. A detention center doctor said that her life was in danger. She was released on medical parole.

9. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Zhang Min Arrested

Ms. Zhang Min, in her late 30s, from Laoyanglong Village, Sanxiqiao Town, Yongxiu County, was arrested by officer Wang Tianning from the Qinhuai Police Department, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, on June 27, 2019. Her home was ransacked, and Falun Gong books and materials were confiscated.

10. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Kuang Zhihua and Ms. Zheng Yinxiu Sentenced to Prison

Several practitioners from Liantang Town were sentenced to prison by the Xihu District Court. Among them, Mr. Kuang Zhihua was sentenced to a seven-and-a-half-year prison term and fined 20,000 yuan and Ms. Zheng Yinxiu was sentenced to a seven-year prison term and fined 10,000 yuan.

11. [Jing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Jia Xiuzhi Displaced; Ms. Liu Xiuzang Detained

Officers from the Qinglan Township Police Station tried to climb over Ms. Liu Xiuzang’s wall with a ladder to enter her home in Qinglan on August 13, 2018. Ms. Liu stopped them and managed to escape. She has been displaced for almost a year.

The officers ransacked Ms. Liu’s home and confiscated a printer, Falun Gong books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and copies of Minghui Weekly.

Cao Guang, deputy head, and other officers from the Jing County Domestic Security Division went to Ms. Jia Xiuzhi’s home in Zhujiaguan Village in Qinglan and ransacked it on July 4, 2019. They confiscated a printer and other personal belongings. Ms. Jia managed to escape but was deceived into going to the police department on July 8 and was arrested. She is being held in the Hengshui Detention Center.

12. [Zhumadian City, Henan Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Several practitioners were arrested by officers from the Xuesong Police Station on July 2, 2019, and their homes were ransacked. Among those arrested were Mr. Xue Baoping, Ms. Lu Guiqing, and Mr. Zhang Fuyuan.

Mr. Xue and Mr. Zhang were later released. Mr. Zhang is now displaced.

13. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Mr. Chen Dicai Arrested

Mr. Chen Dicai was arrested at his rented house on July 7, 2019. His residence was ransacked.

14. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Ms. Li Jinlan and Ms. Duan Chunwei Detained

Ms. Li Jinlan and Ms. Duan Chunwei were reported to the police on the afternoon of July 5, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. They were arrested by Jinchuanlu Police Station officers.

Six officers went to Ms. Li’s home later that evening and ransacked it. Both practitioners were detained.
