(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces，where at least 30 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Pei Daqing and Ms. Qi Guifen Arrested
2. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Ma Hua Sentenced to Prison

5. [Liangshan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Qiuxiang Detained
6. [Yinan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Yanying Arrested
7. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
8. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Shao Lian and Mr. Zhang Jingzhou Arrested
9. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Dong Yanfa Detained
10. [Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Sun Sentenced; Another Three Practitioners’ Cases Turned Over to Procuratorate
11. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yuan Wenge and Ms. Si Yan's Homes Ransacked

1. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Pei Daqing and Ms. Qi Guifen Arrested

Mr. Pei Daqing and his neighbor Ms. Qi Guifen were arrested by officers from the Jilin City Domestic Security Division on August 29, 2019. Their homes were ransacked.

2. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Ma Hua Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Ma Hua was sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term by the Ningjiang District Court.

3. [Linshui County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Meng Rufang Arrested

Ms. Meng Rufang was arrested on July 18, 2019.

4. [Tianjin] Mr. Zhao Hua Arrested

Officers from the Biaokou Township Police Station in the Ninghe District went to Mr. Zhao Hua’s home in Xingtuo Village and ransacked it on the afternoon of August 27, 2019. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and materials. Mr. Zhao was not at home, so the officers took his son to the police station.

Mr. Zhao was later arrested, and his son released.

5. [Liangshan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Qiuxiang Detained

Ms. Chen Qiuxiang from Maying Township was arrested on the morning of August 29, 2019. She was taken to the Jiaxiang Detention Center. Her non-practitioner husband worried that she was not feeling well and went with her to the detention center.

6. [Yinan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Yanying Arrested

Ms. Li Yanying from Miaojiazhuang Village, Dazhuang Town, was reported to the authorities for talking to people about Falun Gong on August 23, 2019. She was arrested by officers from the Industrial Park Development Zone Police Station, and her Falun Gong related materials were confiscated. The officers also ransacked her home, and confiscated recent articles written by the founder of Falun Gong and copies of Minghui Weekly.

Ms. Li was released later that afternoon.

7. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Several practitioners were arrested on the morning of August 30, 2019, and their homes were ransacked.

Among those arrested include Mr. Kui Yingxiang, Mr. Wang Wei, Ms. He Ximei and her husband Mr. Tie Linfeng, Ms. Zhang Yulian, Ms. Liu Huixia, Mr. Liu Furong, Ms. Guan Minghui, Ms. Liang Zhaofang, Ms. Wang Lianfeng and her non-practitioner husband, Ms. Hu Guoyun, Ms. Zhang (in her 80s), and Mr. Kui (in his 80s).

8. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Shao Lian and Mr. Zhang Jingzhou Arrested

More than a dozen officers from the Shashi Economic Development Zone Police Department and the Liaoyuan Police Station went to Ms. Shao Lian’s rented home and arrested her and Mr. Zhang Jingzhou on the evening of August 27, 2019. The officers ransacked the place and confiscated a printer, computer, and printer paper.

Mr. Zhang had previously been imprisoned.

9. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Dong Yanfa Detained

Mr. Dong Yanfa, in his 60s, from Ji’an City became displaced when he had filed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party, for initiating the persecution of Falun Gong. Mr. Dong went to the Xishi area of Yingkou City in 2015 to avoid harassment by the police.

He was arrested at his home by officers from the Liming Police Station in Ji’an on the evening of August 11, 2019. His family was told that he had been officially placed under arrest around August 25. Mr. Dong is being held in the Ji’an Detention Center.

10. [Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Sun Sentenced; Another Three Practitioners’ Cases Turned Over to Procuratorate

Mr. Sun Shutang was tried in the Zhaodong City Court by the Anda City Court. He was sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term.

Ms. Li Yali, Mr. Zhang Kuihua, and Mr. Zhang Guorong are being held in the Anda Detention Center. Their cases have been turned over to the Procuratorate.

11. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yuan Wenge and Ms. Si Yan's Homes Ransacked

Ms. Yuan Wenge, in her 70s, from Liucun Township, had her home ransacked by four officers from the Shenze County Police Department on August 20, 2019.

Ms. Si Yan, in her 60s, from Xibeiliu Village, had her home ransacked the same day. Falun Dafa books and materials were confiscated.
