Ms. Xu Zhonghui from Wudu Town was indicted by Jiangyou City Procuratorate, and will be tried on February 18, 2020.

2. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Tang Juzhang Held In Custody

Ms. Tang Juzhang was arrested, and is being held in custody in Xiyuan Police Station.

3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Hao Shaohua Detained

Mr. Hao Shaohua from Huangtuzhuang Village, Jiaonan Sub-district, West Coast Economy New Area, was reported to the authorities by a student’s parent for talking to the student about Falun Gong. Mr. Hao was arrested by officers from Yinzhu Police Department on January 8, 2020, and detained for 15 days.

4. [Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Quanheng Detained

Mr. Zhang Quanheng was arrested by officers from Yuanping Police Department in Taiyuan City in early January 2020. He was taken to Yuanping Detention Center.

5. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Yang Bo and His Wife Sentenced to Prison; Mr. Luo Zhiyin Indicted by Procuratorate

Mr. Yang Bo was sentenced to an eight-year prison term, while his wife Ms. Xiao Ying was sentenced to a two-year prison term. Mr. Yang appealed to the Shenzhen City Intermediate Court, who upheld the original verdict. He was taken to Beijiang Prison in December 2019. Ms. Xiao was released after serving her prison term.

Mr. Luo Zhiyin was arrested on the afternoon of September 26, 2019, and taken to Huaqiangbei Police Station. He was held in Futian Detention Center for over three months, before being transferred to Nanshan Detention Center. Mr. Luo was indicted by Nanshan Procuratorate on January 8, 2020.

6. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Xiao Wuqun in Critical Condition

Mr. Xiao Wuqun was force-fed in Suzhou Prison on the afternoon of January 30, 2020. He is in critical condition.

7. [Renqiu City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Jun Detained

Mr. Wang Jun from North China Oilfield was arrested by officers from Liangzhao Police Station on January 22, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Gong. He is being held in Renqiu City Detention Center for ten days.

Ms. Tang Lianzhi, 75, from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, was sentenced to a seven-year prison term by the Xiamen City Court, Fujian Province. She is incarcerated in Fujian Province Women's Prison.
