(Minghui.org) I took a taxi one day and planned to talk to the driver about Falun Dafa. Before I even started, he told me a story about how he was protected in a dangerous situation by shouting loudly “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good.”

The driver Lin (alias) told me that an elderly Falun Dafa practitioner had told him about the persecution of Falun Dafa while taking his taxi.

Lin said that he didn't believe what that practitioner said at all, after hearing too much hate propaganda from the media against Falun Dafa. He interrupted him and threatened to drive him to a local police station.

To his surprise, that practitioner replied, “It may not be a coincidence that I’m sitting in your car. No matter what you are going to do, I will always be nice to you.” Lin stayed silent.

That practitioner told Lin about Falun Dafa’s principles, “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance,” and its miraculous healing power in returning people to health. The practitioner said that Falun Dafa has been introduced to over a hundred countries and is only being persecuted in China. He also talked about the staged self-immolation on Tiananmen Square and explained how the Chinese regime slandered Falun Dafa through the government controlled media.

“Believe me, Falun Dafa is a righteous practice. When you are in danger, shout out ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good' and you will be blessed.” the practitioner said to Lin before getting out of the car.

Lin said he didn’t take the words to heart at the time.

One night, four young men took his taxi. The destination was out of the city.

Lin didn't want to drive too far away, but he didn't refuse them.

Right after he drove out of the city, they forced him to stop the car and told him to get out. They threatened to kill him. “I felt like I was doomed.” Lin said, “It was impossible for me to fight four guys.”

Suddenly, he remembered what the practitioner told him. He shouted out loudly, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good!”

Immediately, the four men ran away.

Lin collapsed to the ground and it took a long time for him to collect himself. Tears ran down his cheeks and he felt very fortunate to have remembered the words at that critical moment.

Since then, whenever people said negative things about Falun Dafa, he would share his story with them.

After finishing his story, Lin asked me, “How come the government dared to spread such a huge lie about Falun Dafa? How can a government deceive people this way? I am lucky enough to learn the truth, but I believe that there are many people who still believe in the government's propaganda.”

I told him, “Don't worry, There are many Falun Dafa practitioners clarifying the truth to people every day. They spend their own money and risk their lives to awaken people. More and more people have learned the facts, just as you have. The Communist Party can't deceive people forever.”

Lin said to me, “I fully support you. I will also tell my story to my colleagues. Please help me quit the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.”
