1. [Pingshan County, Hebei Province] Ms. Su Mingxia Imprisoned

Ms. Su Mingxia was arrested by the police on February 2, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was held in Shijiazhuang Detention Center for approximately one year, and was not allowed family visits.

Ms. Su was sentenced to a four-and-a-half-year prison term by the Zhengding County Court in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province in December, 2019. She is now incarcerated in Shijiazhuang Women's Prison.

2. [Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Zhu Zuoxin Sentenced

Mr. Zhu Zuoxin was arrested and taken to the local detention center by officers from Jiangnan City 610 Office in August 2018. He was tried in August 2019.

It was learned on January 9, 2020, that he had been sentenced to a three-year-and-three-month prison term by the Wucheng District Court in Jinhua City.

3. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Three Practitioners Tried; One Practitioner Arrested

Mr. Ding Wen’an was arrested on November 16, 2017. He was sentenced to a two-year-and-ten-month prison term on May 28, 2019, after being tried three times. Mr. Ding appealed to the Suzhou Intermediate Court, which upheld the original verdict.

Ms. Xuan Xiaomei and Ms. Zhu Peiqin were tried by the Wujiang Court on January 7, 2020.

Ms. Wu Huaxin was arrested by officers from the Suzhou Domestic Security Division and the Songling Police Station on January 7, when she brought an item with the Falun Dafa symbol on it in to the Wujiang Court.

4. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Facing Trial

Ms. Meng Zhaoxia, Ms. Song Zhimin, Ms. Liu Shuqin, and Ms. Li Chunmei were arrested and held in Chaibei Detention Center in Benxi City. They were indicted on September 18, 2019.

5. [Bin County, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced

Ms. Wang Yaqin, 73, was sentenced to a five-year prison term by the Yilan County Court on December 19, 2019.

Ms. Meng Qinglan, 71, was sentenced to a four-year prison term.

Ms. Bai Lijie was sentenced to a three-year-and-nine-month prison term.

6. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Xiangling Sentenced; Ms. Guo Lirong's Case Passed to Procuratorate

Ms. Huang Xiangling was arrested by officers from the Chengxi Police Station in Xindu District in November 2018, and taken to the Chengdu Detention Center. She has held hunger strikes since November 29, 2019, and is emaciated. Ms. Huang was recently sentenced to a two-year prison term and fined 5,000 yuan. She appealed in court.

Ms. Guo Lirong was arrested at home on July 10, 2019. She was taken to the Chengdu Detention Center. Her case was passed to the Chenghua District Procuratorate on December 28.

7. [Guang’an City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Luo Yuanling Sentenced

Ms. Luo Yuanling was sentenced to a two-year prison term by the Huaying City Court on September 11, 2019. She has since appealed.

8. [Qingyun County, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Facing Trial

Ms. Du Quancun, Ms. Zhao Junxiang, and Ms. Wang Shuzhen are due to be tried on January 16, 2020.

They were among 36 practitioners arrested by officers from the Dezhou City Domestic Security Division and the Qingyun County Domestic Security Division on November 18, 2018.
