(Minghui.org) The quick spread of the coronavirus in China has caused panic. People only leave their homes to purchase basic necessities and the few people on the streets wear masks. People dare not visit their relatives or friends.

I'd like to share my understanding of how Falun Dafa practitioners should handle this situation.

First of all, we are cultivators and we should view the epidemic with righteous thoughts based on the Fa. Such a big thing happening in the human world is not coincidental. We don't acknowledge any old forces' arrangement. Instead we should make use of a bad thing and turn it into good thing. This disaster is an opportunity for us to save more people.

All practitioners should send out powerful righteous thoughts to completely eliminate any old force factors that interfere with people being saved so that they have a chance to hear the truth, understand the truth and be saved.

Practitioners might have difficulty clarifying the truth face to face in some areas especially where many people have been infected. It's important that we speak with rationality and wisdom so that people understand that we are truly thinking of them and their well being, and only wish to save them.

We should tell people that, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” and let them know that these words have helped many people. We can elaborate by giving some examples published on Minghui.org. Pureinsight.org was running the series, Magical Stories of Falun Dafa before Chinese New Year and it listed over 100 stories published on Minghui.org.

It may be easier to save people during this life and death epidemic and we must not miss this opportunity. We can tell people briefly about the major epidemics that happened in history and help them know that only by following one's conscience, and maintaining kind thoughts and behavior, can one be safe during disasters. We can help them by telling them that Falun Dafa is good and ask them to sincerely recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.
