(Minghui.org) In just a few short weeks, the coronavirus has spread throughout China, as well as many other countries. Many people have died. As people continue succumbing to the virus and with more Chinese cities on lock-down, how much time do we have left to make up for what we haven't done well and save people?

As Falun Dafa practitioners, how should we view this epidemic?

Just before Christmas last year, I had a feeling that a catastrophic event was coming. I didn't know what form it would take, but I had the wrong thought: “People have persecuted practitioners. Won't they have to pay for it?”

This thought was not from my true self, and lacked compassion. Wasn't it going along with the old forces' arrangements? This epidemic is targeting ordinary people, not practitioners. Non-practitioners are the ones in real danger.

However, this coronavirus epidemic is preventing us from effectively saving people. We need to break through the old forces' arrangements.

Master said,

“The old forces don’t want you to save that many people anyway, but I am holding out against them. Otherwise, they were going to end things last year. But what would we do if hardly any people remained?” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2014 San Francisco Fa Conference”)

From Master's lectures, I realized that the old forces wanted to eliminate those people who hadn't been saved and dissolve the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

When the old forces' plans weren't carried out I understood that Master prevented it. Master prolonged things so that practitioners had more time to cultivate and save more people.

Master said,

“Dafa disciples should not stay attached to time and should not neglect to go about doing the things you should do. I keep prolonging this time to give it to you and have you do things quickly!” (“Fa Teaching at the 2016 New York Fa Conference”)

What did Master have to do to keep extending the time?

“Question: What can disciples do to reduce your burden as much as possible?Master: You don’t need to worry about this. That’s not something any of you are capable of. There is nothing you can do, and I can’t even tell you about the things I am dealing with. I have said before, “It’s lonely in high places.” It’s not like what you would imagine, though—like what a high official might go through, where he can’t pour out his heart to anyone, and at most, he might feel a bit lonely is all. I have to bear simply enormous pressure as well as the hardship of all sentient beings.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2019 New York Fa Conference”)

In order to give us more time to save people, Master endures enormous pressure and the hardships of all sentient beings!

From 2013 to now, seven years have passed. When I look back at my own cultivation during these years, I'm deeply ashamed. Some practitioners became less and less diligent; others were attracted to human things; some even started to doubt Master and Dafa. Yet Master did not give up on us. Master mercifully, seriously warned us in recent lectures such as, “Fa Teaching at the 2015 West Coast Fa Conference,” and “Fa Teaching at the 2016 New York Fa Conference.”

Last year a practitioner whose celestial eye is open published an article on Minghui, “How Many Dafa Disciples Can Succeed in Cultivation?” I felt it was a “stick wake-up” for all those who haven't cultivated diligently. But how many of us heard the warning and woke up?

How much time do we have before the end arranged by Master? Isn't the coronavirus epidemic another “stick wake-up” for those practitioners who are still lost among everyday people?

Several days ago, I realized that: When someone comes to this human world, it's like coming from a bright place into a dark tunnel. When our true selves come here, each of us is surrounded by a human body with a pair of human eyes. Our true selves cannot see the bright lights and we're lost in this dark world - lost in the human relationships among families, relatives, work, and more. With the atheism, and the so-called scientific logic which the old forces imposed on the world, this human space is even darker. People are convinced that what they see with their human eyes is the truth, when in fact they are completely lost.

But Master came and brought the light to this dark world. He awakened our true selves, and pointed us to a bright road so we could return to our true home. We began walking the path towards a bright future.

I understood that every relationship in the human world is a false impression formed by “karmic retribution” and everything around us is like a stage props. Our task is to lead the beings (ordinary people) who came from high levels to attain the Fa so that they could return to their true homes.

When I understood this, I truly felt nothing in this human world belongs to me. I suddenly saw everything clearly. I won't be blocked by the darkness. I know where my path is and what I should do.
