(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in nine cities or counties in seven provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Tonghua County, Jilin Province] Ms. Tang Lijuan Imprisoned
2. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Three Practitioners Imprisoned
3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Cui Xiuqin Held in Custody
4. [Baicheng City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zang Zhongmei Arrest Approved
5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Tian and Ms. Wang Arrested
6. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Zhongping Arrested
7. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Guiqing and Ms. Ma Guilan Detained
8. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Haimei and Ms. Li Xiuying Arrested
9. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Wang Yaqin Arrested

1. [Tonghua County, Jilin Province] Ms. Tang Lijuan Imprisoned

Ms. Tang Lijuan, 70, from Kuidamao Town, was arrested by officers from the local police station on July 16, 2019, and taken to Changliu Detention Center. She was sentenced to a six-year prison term, and is incarcerated in Lanjia Women's Prison.

2. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Three Practitioners Imprisoned

Ms. Xiao Rong was arrested by officers from Mian County 610 Office, the Domestic Security Division, and Criminal Police Division on January 12, 2018. She was held in Hantai District Detention Center, and tried in mid-November 2018.

Ms. Zhao Xia was arrested on August 13, 2018, and tried by the Hantai Court on December 12, 2018.

Ms. Xiao Yanping was arrested on August 22, 2018, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was held in Hantai Detention Center.

All three practitioners are incarcerated in Shaanxi Women's Prison.

3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Cui Xiuqin Held in Custody

Ms. Cui Xiuqin, from the Daoli District, was arrested by officers from Jianguo Police Station on February 20, 2020. She is being held in custody at the station.

4. [Baicheng City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zang Zhongmei Arrest Approved

Ms. Zang Zhongmei was arrested by officers from Taobei District Domestic Security Division on February 16, 2020, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her Falun Gong books, computers, informational materials, cash, and other personal belongings were confiscated. Her arrest has been approved.

5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Tian and Ms. Wang Arrested

Ms. Tian and Ms. Wang were arrested by officers from Gaoxin District Domestic Security Division and Dongminglu Police Station in mid-February 2020. Their homes were ransacked.

6. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Zhongping Arrested

Mr. Zhang Zhongping was recently arrested at home by officers from Mengyin County Police Station for sending the message, “Remember Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” from his cell phone.

7. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Guiqing and Ms. Ma Guilan Detained

Ms. Wang Guiqing and Ms. Ma Guilan were arrested by officers from Zhennan Police Station on September 30, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked. Both practitioners are being held in Shenyang No. 1 Detention Center.

Ms. Wang was released on bail in late January 2020, pending trial. Her case was later brought to court.

8. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Haimei and Ms. Li Xiuying Arrested

Ms. Yang Haimei and Ms. Li Xiuying were recently arrested by officers from Shenjiatun Police Station for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to Laoyazhuang Police Station for interrogation, and were later released.

9. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Wang Yaqin Arrested

Ms. Wang Yaqin was arrested by officers from Peili Police Station in the Anning District on February 21, 2020, for posting informational stickers about the persecution of Falun Gong.
