(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 17 cities or counties in ten provinces, where at least 23 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Plainclothes officers from the Bishan District's Bicheng Police Station broke into Ms. Li Guizhen’s home in Tuzhu Town, Shapingba District, on the evening of May 12, 2020. Ms. Li was beaten and arrested. Her computer and Falun Dafa books were confiscated. She was taken to the local police station, where she was threatened and pressured to sign the “Three Statements” the police had already prepared. This included a written confession, a written pledge to give up her spiritual belief, and a statement revealing and criticizing other practitioners. Ms. Li was forced to pay 30,000 yuan before being allowed to returned home.
Ms. Wang Chaxin is being held in the Beibei District Detention Center.

Elderly Ms. Wu Shengjiang and Ms. Sini from Xunhu Village, Julu County, were arrested by officers from the Dicun Police Station on June 4, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked. Ms. Sini was released later that day. Ms. Wu is being held in the Julu Police Department.
Mr. Wang Jindong was arrested on June 9, 2020, for exchanging paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them. He was released later that evening.
Several police officers from the Beijinglu Police Station broke into Ms. Zhao Yue's home and ransacked it on the evening of March 12, 2020. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and a computer.
Ms. Zhao was arrested and taken to the Sanjiang Women's Detention Center. She was released on bail a month later. The police said they would continue to investigate her and gather criminal evidence. She was not allowed to leave home.
The police went to Ms. Zhao's home on May 10 with an arrest warrant issued by the procuratorate. She was taken to the Sanjiang Women's Detention Center.
Several officers from the Fengtai Police Station broke into Mr. Zhu Yunjiang’s home and ransacked it on the evening of May 25, 2020. They confiscated a computer, printer, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Dafa books, and a cell phone.
Mr. Zhu was taken to the police station, before being transferred to the Fengtai Detention Center to undergo a physical exam. He was released on bail four days later.
Ms. Zhang Guixia from Xinbin County was reported to the police on June 9, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was taken to the village office, and then to the Wangqingmen Town Police Station. Her family went to the police station to request her release. They were not allowed to see her.
Officers from the Xinbin Domestic Security Division searched Ms. Zhang’s home on June 10, but did not find anything incriminating.

Ms. Li Yun was reported to the police on the morning of June 1, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was arrested by officers from the Yuejiang Police Station, and later taken to the Jingjiang City Detention Center.
Mr. Wang Yaowen from Wangjin Village was arrested by officers from the Jinchang Town Police Station, the Domestic Security Division, and the 610 Office in Dingxiang County on the morning of May 20, 2020. His home was ransacked.
Ms. Wang Qiuxian was reported to the police in early June 2020 for distributing Falun Gong materials. Her home was ransacked by officers from the Hujiamiao Police Station and community personnel. Falun Gong informational materials and couplets were confiscated.
Ms. Liu Jinhua, 56, from the Panyu District was last heard from on May 17, 2020. It was reported that she could have been arrested and taken to a detention center.

Officers from the Chaoyang Police Station broke into Ms. Chen Shujun’s home and ransacked it on the morning of June 2, 2020. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, USB flash drives, audio players, MP3 players, a cell phone, and printed materials.
Ms. Chen was arrested and taken to the police station.

Ms. Chen Bixia from Beiyan Township was arrested by officers from the Duchang County Domestic Security Division on May 20, 2020. Her home was ransacked, and her and her husband’s cell phones were confiscated.
Ms. Chen Xuesong and Ms. Xu Yuzhen were arrested by officers from the Nancheng Police Station in May 2020.
Mr. Jiang Zhenyan was reported to the police on May 2, 2020, for distributing Falun Gong materials. He was arrested and interrogated by officers from the Donglai Police Station.
Mr. Jiang, who is illiterate, was released after signing their paperwork.
