(Minghui.org) I am 67 this year, a native from Northeast China, now living in the United Kingdom (UK). I began to practice Falun Dafa in 1996. Before that, I suffered from many illnesses, such as a frozen shoulder, tonsil inflammation, gynecological diseases, breast hyperplasia, and so on. These ailments disappeared after I began to practice Falun Dafa. I have not needed any medication or been given any injections for over 20 years.
It was amazing as to what I experienced when I first started to cultivate, as well as after I moved overseas. I don’t know how to compose an article, but I want to share some of my experiences with practitioners. Master and Dafa have given me so much. I want to express my gratitude to Master. With the help of practitioners, I completed this sharing article.
Some of my family lived in the UK. I contacted local practitioners after arriving in the UK in 2019 to visit family. I decided to stay after observing that practitioners were needed to clarify the truth in Chinatown. For my family, this was a sudden decision, and they were against my staying in England. I thought my family’s attitude was a test of how determined I was to stay overseas. Thinking about it, I realized that I needed to clarify the truth more thoroughly to them.
I went to Chinatown every day to tell people about the persecution in China. When the pandemic broke out, especially after the first lockdown, we discontinued our activities in Chinatown temporarily.
Practitioners working in the media printed the Epoch Times special edition in October 2020. I joined London practitioners in distributing these newspapers. In the beginning, we distributed the papers to individual households in an expensive residential suburb in London. Later on, we went to wealthy towns outside London. We did this for several months, walking long distances daily.
We set off at around 9 a.m. and distributed papers until around 5 p.m. I am nearly 70, yet I didn’t feel tired! When I felt worn out at times, I asked Master to give me strength, I would recover from fatigue shortly after. It was extraordinary. When I walked, I often felt light as if I were floating. A few younger practitioners who dropped off the papers with me commented, “Auntie, you don’t seem to walk quickly, but how come we can’t catch up to you?” Indeed, I too felt that I did not walk at a quick pace, but I managed to give out a lot of papers daily, more than the young practitioners.
We got home around 7 p.m. and ate a simple dinner. Then we studied the Fa and sent righteous thoughts. I persisted in doing all five sets of exercises in the morning and made sure I did the three things every day. A practitioner said to me, “Auntie, I counted and found that on average we walked six hours a day and about 5 km an hour. This works out to roughly 30 km a day.”
We realized the urgency of saving people–rain or shine, so we went out every day to distribute the papers. However, we ran into huge obstacles at times. Whenever we prepared to set off, strong winds would start, or it would rain. On several occasions, it even snowed heavily. But our hearts were not moved. Time and again, we were drenched, but we did not feel uncomfortable when delivering the papers.
It rained when we were on the road at one time. The rain then turned into large snowflakes! Cars couldn’t drive on the motorway. We were not deterred and were determined to reach our destination. We know that we could not slack off when it came to saving people!
We sent righteous thoughts, asking Master for help. All of us in five cars reached our destinations without any problem, and we began to distribute the papers to all households. In some areas, the snow was very deep. Usually it would be difficult to walk on the ground covered with snow, which covered our shoes and soon melted and filled our shoes. Yet we did not feel uncomfortable or cold. Our hearts were at ease.
One time, I went to an affluent small town outside London with other practitioners to distribute materials. As I didn’t understand English and couldn’t read the map, practitioners would drop off materials in areas that I could easily find. I was taught to turn on location services on my mobile phone so that when I parted ways with practitioners, they knew where to find me.
That day, after allocating the maps, I carried my backpack and set off. I discovered I had forgotten to bring my mobile phone after going our separate ways. I only thought of how to contact practitioners after I finished dropping off all the information. I found a spot by the roadside and sent righteous thoughts. In a short while, a practitioner’s car appeared. They told me the area was quite big, and they could not contact me and wondered how far I had gone. Unexpectedly, they saw me after driving for several minutes.
Looking back at the time when we distributed newspapers and informational materials, we cooperated very well with one another. Thank you, Master, for giving us such a great honor!
