(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 9 provinces, where at least 17 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Yongxiu County, Jiangxi Province] 80-year-old Mr. Huang Deguo Sentenced

4. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] The Case Against Ms. Li Xuesong Submitted to the Procuratorate

6. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Qiu Renying and Ms. Qiu Yuanxiang Sentenced to Three Years in Prison Respectively
7. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Five Practitioners Harassed or Arrested
8. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Wang Guiping Arrested
9. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Qin Hongying Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

1. [Yongxiu County, Jiangxi Province] 80-year-old Mr. Huang Deguo Sentenced

Mr. Huang Deguo, 80, from the Yunshan Mountain area was detained and sentenced to prison.

2. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yang Rui Harassed

Several people from Guanghan City 610 Office and the Guihua Community went to Mr. Yang Rui’s home in Renshou Village, Nanxing Town around 10 a.m. on November 24, 2021. They pressured Mr. Yang to sign a guarantee statement and warned him not to talk to people about Falun Gong. If he did, they would come back.

3. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhao Harassed

Ms. Zhao lives in No. 18 Village, No. 8 Town. Fang Rongchao from the town comprehensive management office and the village official Wen Xiangyang went to Ms. Zhao’s home around November 10, 2021. They pressured her to sign a guarantee statement, which she refused.

4. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] The Case Against Ms. Li Xuesong Submitted to the Procuratorate

The case against Ms. Li Xuesong from Weiyang District was submitted to the Meiyang District Procuratorate.

5. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Ling Arrested and Detained

Ms. Wang Ling and some other practitioners were arrested by officers from the Caisanghu Town Police Station in the Junshan District on the morning of November 14, 2021. The police claimed that they just posted a sticker with information about Falun Gong on the canal bridge. Ms. Wang questioned this, and said it was not recently posted. However, Ms. Wang was still held in the police station for one day and was transferred to the Hubin Detention House next day. She was detained for five days and was released on November 22, 2021.

6. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Qiu Renying and Ms. Qiu Yuanxiang Sentenced to Three Years in Prison Respectively

Two sisters Ms. Qiu Renying and Ms. Qiu Yuanxiang, were arrested at home in Yetang Town, Xingning District, Meizhou City, by officers from the Heyuan City, on September 8, 2020. It is learned that they were sentenced to three years in prison respectively and were taken to the Guangdong Province Women’s Prison on October 30, 2021.

7. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Five Practitioners Harassed or Arrested

Mr. Zhu Zhixiong and his wife Ms. Tang Xueying were detained in the Xiameiqiao Brainwashing Center in November 2021. Mr. Zhu was released. Ms. Tang was taken to the Chenzhou Detention Center. 

Around November 2021, Ms. Peng Xiaorong from Shizhuyuan was harassed by police. Another practitioner in Bailutang Town was arrested. Teacher Lei from Beihu District was told by the local community staff member to go to the Xiameiqiao Brainwashing Center. 

8. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Wang Guiping Arrested

Four plainclothes police officers broke into the home of Wang Guiping (gender unknown) on the morning of November 15, 2021. Wang managed to escape. A visitor Kang was arrested. Wang’s home was ransacked. Later, Wang was arrested on November 22, 2021. 

9. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Qin Hongying Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

Ms. Qin Hongying was sentenced to four years in prison and was taken to a women’s prison.

10. [Lingwu City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Yan Ying Bailed Out for Medical Treatment

Ms. Yan Ying was arrested in February 2021 and was sentenced to two years in prison on September 14, 2021. She was found to have advanced breast cancer, liver cysts, and gallstones and was taken to a hospital by several police officers. She underwent mastectomy and is currently in Ward 714, Wuzhong City Hospital. Her lawyer and her family bailed her out for medical treatment. The police have withdrawn from the hospital. 

11. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Zheng Kaiping Harassed Repeatedly

Zheng Kaiping (gender unknown) lives in Dongwazi Village, Malan Town, and has been harassed repeatedly since last year. Several people came to harass Zheng on the following dates this year, August 25, October 9, and November 17. 

Six people went to Zheng’s home around 11:30 a.m. on November 17, 2021 when Zheng was preparing lunch. They took out a guarantee statement and pressured Zheng to sign it. Zheng refused.
