(Minghui.org) Local practitioners held an activity at Karlsplatz in Munich on March 5. They demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and told people how the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) persecutes practitioners in China, including killing them for their organs. Many people signed the petition to support their efforts to end these egregious human rights violations.

Many young people came to sign the petition that day. One group of young people signed their names and then followed the practitioners’ movements and learned the exercises. They also took a group photo holding little origami lotus flowers with "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" written on them that practitioners had given them.
These young people signed the petition and accepted little origami lotus flowers with Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance printed on them.
Another young German, Peter Miskowitsch, said he signed the petition a few months ago. He said the exercises looked relaxing and beautiful, “I am very interested. I even want to learn how to practice Falun Dafa. The exercises look very relaxing and I feel good about it.”
Peter Miskowitsch said he wants to learn to practice Falun Dafa.
Peter said, “I think what you are doing is very correct. You are against killing people for their organs. Organ harvesting should not be done.” When he learned that the CCP has prohibited people from practicing Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance for 23 years, Peter said, “Banning these (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance) is inhuman, and it’s terrible.”
One couple said they often saw practitioners’ activities by Steinberger See near Munich. They previously talked with practitioners, obtained informational materials, and discussed it when they returned home. However, they felt that the signatures wouldn’t change anything. They believed that the CCP would never stop the persecution, and Western society did not dare to speak out about many things in order to do business with the CCP.
A practitioner told them that signatures had an impact. She gave them two examples. She said that a survey was conducted in West Germany before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Only 3% of people believed that they might see the fall of the Berlin Wall in their lifetime. The Berlin Wall was pulled down a few months after the survey. She also reminded them of a German proverb: “Drops of water can wear away stone.” The couple smiled and immediately went to the information table and signed the petition.
They thanked practitioners for their hard work before they left, and wished them success. They happily accepted a little origami lotus flower with the words Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and learned the five gentle exercises have experienced uplifted health and well-being.
Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology and on July 20, 1999, issued an order to ban the practice.
Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 22 years. The actual number is believed to be much higher. More have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.
There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply the organ transplant industry.
Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.
