(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Cui Yanling and Ms. Wang Ying Face Second Trial

Ms. Cui Yanling and Ms. Wang Ying have been held in custody for over nine months. They were tried some time ago, but no sentence was pronounced. They will be tried for a second time on June 13, 2022.

2. [Baicheng City, Jilin Province] Ms. Guo Peiying’s Pension Suspended

Ms. Guo Peiying’s pension has been suspended for 18 months since January 2021. She was forced to pay back 150,000 yuan from the pension payments she received in the past.

3. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Yang Huiru and Ms. Ding Menglin Harassed

A household registration police officer and a Xingfuqiao Community Management Office staff member went to the homes of 64-year-old Ms. Yang Huiru and 62-year-old Ms. Ding Menglin in late May 2022 to collect fingerprints from the two practitioners.

4. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Xingxiu and Ms. Li Tianying Arrested

Ms. Liu Xingxiu and Ms. Li Tianying from Wenjia Village, Longfeng Town, were arrested and taken to the Junyue Police Station while distributing desk calendars in the Longfeng Sub-district on November 6, 2021. That night, the officers took both practitioners to their homes to ransack the places. They confiscated copies of Zhuan Falun, other Falun Gong books, and cash. The officers also asked them to sign a list of confiscated items.

On January 6, 2022, the officers said that issues related to the two practitioners were not over. Ms. Liu and Ms. Li had to take nucleic acid tests. On January 7, the officers videotaped Ms. Li and recorded her voice. They collected Ms. Liu’s fingerprints and footprints. Ms. Liu had to go through a complete physical examination as well.

5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zheng Peiling Arrested

Ms. Zheng Peiling gave a card with a QR code for unrestricted Internet access to a young man on the street on the afternoon of May 14, 2022. The man reported her to the police. She was arrested by officers from the Baogong Police Station. After clarifying the truth for more than two hours Ms. Zheng walked out of the police station.

6. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Kou Lirong and Ms. Ma Yinhuan Arrested

Ms. Kou Lirong was arrested at work on May 9, 2022. She went on a hunger strike and returned home on June 9. Ms. Ma Yinhuan, who was arrested at the same time with Ms. Kou, is still being held in the No. 2 Detention Center in Shijiazhuang City.

7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Shen Tianhui Not Heard From for Over Two Years

People have not heard from Shen Tianhui (gender unknown) for more than two years after Shen was arrested by officers from the Hongqi Street Police Station.

8. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Fu Qiurong’s Prison Term Ends in Early July

Ms. Fu Qiurong was followed and arrested on July 3, 2019. She was sentenced to three years in prison and fined 30,000 yuan. She is being held in the Shandong Province Women’s Prison. Her sentence will end in early July 2022.

9. [Beijing] Mr. Sun Deli Arrested

Officers from the Nancai Police Station brought an arrest warrant issued by the Beijing Municipal Police Department and arrested Mr. Sun Deli at 6:30 p.m. on June 3, 2022. The officers first took him to the Shunyi District Hospital for a physical examination, and then to the police station. He was released on bail 24 hours later.

On October 6, 2021, around 2:00 p.m. four officers from the Nancai Police Station ransacked Mr. Sun’s home. Failing to find anything they wanted, they took Mr. Sun to the Shunyi District Detention Center in order to extract a confession. He was released on bail after being held there for 24 hours.

10. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Yanli Arrested

Ms. Wang Yanli, from No. 854 Farm in the Yingchun area, was arrested on June 9, 2022. She was released the same day.
