(Minghui.org) With the recent white paper protests in China, and the death of Jiang Zemin, the former head of the communist regime who ordered the persecution of Falun Gong, more and more Chinese people can now see how extensively the communist regime has been smearing this ancient spiritual and meditation discipline.
Here are two stories submitted by two practitioners who live abroad.
A family of four stopped in front of our information booth in Germany one day. The husband is American and the wife is Chinese from Sichuan Province. They and their two children live in Germany.
The wife told me that she saw other Falun Gong practitioners at the information booth, but they were all Germans who didn’t speak Chinese. She was happy to see me and eager to know what Falun Gong is all about.
She specifically asked me about the Tiananmen self-immolation that took place on January 23, 2001, the eve of the Chinese New Year. She remembered seeing it on TV when she was still little and she had been wondering why those people would set themselves on fire and what happened after that.
I told her that Falun Gong prohibits any killing, including suicide. The Tiananmen self-immolation was staged by the communist regime to slander Falun Gong. I also explained the loopholes in the videos and that none of the self-immolators were in fact Falun Gong practitioners as alleged by the regime. I finally pointed out that the fact that the state-owned CCTV could produce such a lengthy news program in such a short time, including both wide angle and closeup video, clearly shows that the immolation was something that had being carefully planned.
The woman understood and she asked me, “What can I do for you?”
Before I could answer, she saw the “End CCP” petition on the table and signed her name. I told her that over 400 million Chinese have quit the Chinese Communist Party and its two junior organizations. I urged her to do the same if she had joined the Party.
She told me that she was indeed a Party member, but she never identified herself as a part of it. She agreed to quit it with an alias.
I met Mr. Zhang the other day. He comes from Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. He told me that he received a booklet from another practitioner about Jiang Zemin’s three crimes against China, including treason, corruption and persecution of Falun Gong. He finished reading in the evening and when he woke up the next morning, he saw the news that Jiang had died. “What a coincidence! I just finished reading the booklet and he died!”
Mr. Zhang told me that his family used to live in Vladivostok, also known as Haishenwai. But they later moved to Harbin, as his father was obligated to take care of his aging grandfather. The land Haishenwai of was given by Jiang to Russia in 1999. “It’s a beautiful and rich land. It’s abominable for Jiang to give it to Russia. We will have to hold him accountable for it sooner or later!”
“Everyone was talking about how Jiang was a toad in a human form. People are all happy he finally died. He sold out the country, ruled by corruption and persecuted good people. I believe even hell wouldn’t want him.”
