(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Beijing] Ms. Li Shuwei Sentenced to Two Years in Prison
2. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Xiuling Arrested
3. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Lu Hongyue Arrested and Detained
4. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Autonomous Region] Ms. Chen Bo and Ms. Shi Meilan Released
5. [Gaobei City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Yanqing Released
6. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Harassed
7. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Ying Harassed

1. [Beijing] Ms. Li Shuwei Sentenced to Two Years in Prison

Ms. Li Shuwei was sentenced to two years in prison, which would be executed outside prison.

2. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Xiuling Arrested

Ms. Li Xiuling from the Yuexiu District was arrested on October 1, 2023 when she distributed information about Falun Gong in the Haizhu District.

3. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Lu Hongyue Arrested and Detained

Mr. Lu Hongyue was arrested at a shop by officers including Chen Xuezeng from the Linqu County Domestic Security Division around 9 a.m. on August 31, 2023. His home was ransacked. Mr. Lu was sent to a detention house for 15 days and was released on September 15, 2023.

4. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Autonomous Region] Ms. Chen Bo and Ms. Shi Meilan Released

Ms. Chen Bo from Yongning County and Ms. Shi Meilan from Huinong District of Shizuishan City were released from the Ningxia Women’s Prison in mid-September 2023.

5. [Gaobei City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Yanqing Released

Mr. Zhang Yanqing from Fengsheng Village of Baigou Town was detained for 15 days and has now returned home.

6. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Harassed

Two plainclothes officers from the Sanjie Town Police Station drove to Guansheng Village on the morning of September 12, 2023. They harassed and photographed the four practitioners who lived there: Hu Zhangqiong, Wang Guanghui, Yang Shanrong, and Huang Qixiu. 

7. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Ying Harassed

Ms. Chen Ying was photographed by community staff members on September 15, 2023. Ms. Chen tried to stop them.
