(Minghui.org) I was fortunate to learn about Falun Dafa at the end of 2016. I’d like to tell you about my wonderful experiences.
I was born to a poor village family and I worked in the fields when I was young. Although I had many siblings, I was the fortunate one and my parents allowed me to go to school. Therefore, I was very serious in my studies and was usually the most outstanding student. On the surface I seemed to be happy. However, deep inside there was always an invisible suppression. It accumulated and caused my body to be plagued with many illnesses. When I was in the second year of high school I developed a weird condition. It stopped me from concentrating on my studies. Images of numbers and chemical formulae kept appearing in my mind. Although I was tormented by this, I was able to get into a very famous university. I did well, but despite my high grades I was very pessimistic. I always felt that life was boring.
After graduating from the university I worked at an international firm and visited many countries. However, I still felt that life was boring. I kept asking myself what was wrong. What illness was I suffering from? I visited hospitals across China, underwent X-rays and MRIs but the doctors all told me the same thing: I did not have an illness. I was worried. Would this illness follow me all my life?
I got married and had a son. When he was two years old, he began having convulsions. His hands, legs and mouth spasmed and his eyes slanted. I could only carry him to the hospital for emergency treatment. The doctors said that they were not sure of the prognosis.
One day, I read an article on the Internet about a child with chronic convulsions. After the mother began practicing Falun Dafa, her child recovered.
I was eager to learn more about Dafa and embarked on the path of cultivation.
After cultivating for a period of time, I discovered that not only was my son’s illness resolved, the weird condition that tormented me for many years was gone! I happily shouted, “My illness is gone! Falun Dafa is good!”
Before the COVID pandemic outbreak, I clarified the truth to the locals and western people at the market, supermarket and parks. After the pandemic outbreak I started to participate in the project to clarify the truth to people in China.
I did not know the Chinese language and could not speak a single word, so I started learning by trying to recognize Chinese characters. I took Chinese language classes, and I gradually learned a little bit of Chinese pronunciation.
We later started a small local group to make truth-clarifying phone calls. Some send righteous thoughts while the others make phone calls and play recorded messages to people in China. Another practitioner and I make phone calls and clarify the truth to people in China directly. At first I only knew how to say simple things like, “Hi, how is everything on your side?” Then I give the person a pen name and ask him to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. Whether he agrees or not, I tell him about the nine special words (Falun Dafa is Good, Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is Good). I can feel Master encouraging me and some people agree to quit the CCP and its youth organizations.
Master said,
“You are not here to change history, but rather, to save people at this most dangerous time in history, by raising awareness, persuading people to withdraw from China’s three major communist organizations, encouraging people to sincerely say the magic words,2 and so on. All of these are the best medicine possible, the best way to rescue people...” (“Stay Rational”)
After we made truth-clarifying phone calls for a period of time, the global RTC platform set up the first series of training classes for us. I was fortunate enough to participate. I embarked on my path of saving people in China through making phone calls.
To me, making truth-clarifying phone calls to people in China is an especially precious experience. Sometimes, I feel like I am a monk wandering around to cultivate. I met many people with different misunderstandings about Dafa and quitting the CCP and its youth organizations. Some even said bad words due to their misunderstanding of Master and Dafa. The people in China who are living under the CCP are really very pitiful. However, I felt that deep inside, everyone’s inner soul has a kind side and they also have the righteous belief in divinity and Gods.
While persuading people to quit the CCP and its youth organizations, I talked to many people in China who argued with me when I said that they pledged to give their lives to the CCP. Some ask, “I am a CCP member and I have my own faith!” He means that he is an atheist and only believes in the CCP. One lady shouted, “Why are you calling me? I do not understand what you are talking about!” Another time I offered to help a man quit the CCP and its youth organizations. I asked him to think for himself and quit the CCP and its youth organizations. I also told him how someone’s vow became a reality. At first, most people refuse to quit. I said, “I just have one wish, which is that you distance yourself from the CCP and survive the disasters safely.” Most of them agree to quit and are willing to listen to the truth about Dafa. I had a deeper understanding about what Master said, “Returning to tradition puts you on the path to Heaven” (“Creating Anew,” Hong Yin V The Grand Verses).
I felt that Master was empowering me to save people in China because practitioners’ benevolent energy field can disintegrate the control the negative beings have over people.
I’ve also talked to some people who understood the true nature of the CCP. One lady wept when I clarified the truth to her. When I said that the CCP staged the Tiananmen self-immolation hoax to defame Falun Dafa, she said, “You said that the CCP persecutes Falun Dafa. From what I know, the CCP not only persecutes Falun Dafa, the CCP is a monster! It is persecuting all the kindhearted people in China! We are all trying to be truthful, compassionate and tolerant but the CCP authorities are all bad people. We are being persecuted and are even being brought to the police station for questioning. Our phones are being monitored……In the past, I did not know about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa but later, through the Internet, I got to know all the things that the CCP did to Falun Dafa. It really is a monster!”
After participating in the truth-clarification for awhile, under Master’s arrangement, I became a project coordinator. Although my command of the Chinese language is limited, I try my best to support our efforts in order to save more people. Each night I log into the platform to make phone calls to people in China together with the other overseas practitioners. We encourage each other to persist in making truth-clarifying phone calls to save people.
Cooperating with others also helped me eliminate many attachments, especially my impatience and intolerance. When the practitioners who clarify the truth on the RTC platform directly through phone calls hold the second series of training, about a hundred practitioners registered for the class. I have to communicate with overseas practitioners, prepare short scripts, and organize entrance examinations. I also had to call every practitioner who registered for the class or send them short messages to inform them about the time for the exam, find a practitioner to help do the translations, etc.
I felt that I was spending too much time on this project. I wanted to give myself more time to read the Fa and make phone calls to clarify the truth. Looking within, I saw that I did not have enough tolerance. I was selfish and I did not focus on the group's needs. The other practitioners also spent their precious time organizing entrance exams and training for our country’s truth-clarifying group. I must get rid of my selfishness and do my best to cooperate.
I read Zhuan Falun in Chinese and read truth-clarifying scripts every day so that I could communicate fluently with people when I made phone calls. I led the other practitioners to read truth-clarifying scripts, analyze the questions that people had, etc. I also read the Fa with everyone on the team. I was gradually able to read the Chinese version of Zhuan Falun fluently.
Although I obtained the Fa relatively late and my command of the Chinese language is limited, Master benevolently arranged everything well for me. We are able to cooperate with practitioners around the world and try our best to complete our prehistoric mission by saving people.
I hope that all Falun Dafa practitioners can make use of this precious opportunity to overcome language barriers and strengthen our righteous thoughts to assist Master in Fa rectification, so as not to let Master’s hopes down. We should try our best to save the people in China! I will try my best to cultivate myself well, get rid of my attachments, save more people and follow Master.
