(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 13 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zang Hongyan Sent to Hospital During Detention
2. [Wenshan City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Wang Wenying and Ms. Li Qun Sentenced to Six Years in Prison Respectively
3. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] The Case Against Four Practitioners Returned to the Police Station

5. [Chongqing] Mr. Wang Hong and Ms. Dai Arrested and Detained
6. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Deng Guojun and Chen Daiyou Arrested
1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zang Hongyan Sent to Hospital During Detention
Ms. Zang Hongyan was arrested on September 16, 2022. She has been detained in the Prison Administration Center of Changchun City since her arrest. Her case has now been submitted to the court. Ms. Zang developed high blood pressure and had symptoms of a stroke. She is now being treated in the Prison Administration Center hospital. Her family members are not allowed to visit her.
2. [Wenshan City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Wang Wenying and Ms. Li Qun Sentenced to Six Years in Prison
Ms. Wang Wenying from Wenshan City and Ms. Li Qun from Yanshan County were arrested in 2017 and sentenced to three and a half years in prison.
Ms. Wang and Ms. Li were arrested again in 2021. They were sentenced to six years in prison and have been detained since then.
3. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] The Case Against Four Practitioners Returned to the Police Station
Four practitioners, Ms. Li Wanlin, Tang Junmin, Ms. Liu Haixia, and Ms. Ren Baomei, were reported to police for distributing truth clarifying materials in Yangping Town, Chencang District and were arrested by officers from the Yangping Town Police Station on the evening of July 19, 2022. The case file was submitted to the procuratorate. The case was returned to the Yangping Town Police Station due to insufficient evidence.
4. [Beijing] Mr. Sun Deli Faces Trial
Mr. Sun Deli was scheduled to be tried in the Shunyi District Court on January 30, 2023.
5. [Chongqing] Mr. Wang Hong and Ms. Dai Arrested and Detained
Mr. Wang Hong from Tangba Town in Tongnan District, in his 40s, was arrested at his rented property in Yubei District on the morning of September 21, 2022. The police confiscated his Falun Gong books, computer, printer and over 10,000 yuan in cash. Ms. Dai from Yubei District was also arrested on the same day. Both practitioners have been detained in the Yubei Detention Center since then.
6. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Deng Guojun and Chen Daiyou Arrested
Six officers from the Gaoping District Police Department arrested Deng Guojun and Chen Daiyou (genders unknown) at their homes on the morning of September 19, 2022. They confiscated their Falun Gong books, computers, printer, and other personal belongings. The two practitioners were interrogated in the police department. They were later released on bail pending trial after being forced to pay 10,000 yuan in bail.
The practitioners were summoned to the police department on December 28, 2022. They were forced to sign some documents.
