(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 2 provinces, where at least 4 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Qiu Jiaxiu, 61, was reported to the police and was arrested when she distributed informational materials about Falun Gong on January 28, 2023. Four officers forcibly entered her home that afternoon and seized a photo of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, and a video player among other personal belongings. Ms Qiu is being held in the Zhucheng City Police Department.
Mr. Pan Qin, 89, went to the Shijingshan Domestic Security Division on January 28, 2023 to demand the return of the photo of the founder of Falun Gong, his Falun Gong books, and a printer that they seized from his home 10 days before. He was not allowed to enter the door and told to go to local police station for his request.
It was said that officer Luo from the Shijingshan Domestic Security Division came to Mr. Pan’s home that evening and made it clear that the photo of the founder of Falun Gong could be returned, provided that Mr. Pan promises to stop distributing informational materials about Falun Gong.
Mr. Cao Xiongbin noticed a white van with the word “police” printed on it parked not far from the window on the first floor when he returned home on the evening of January 24, 2023. Two men in police uniforms stood nearby and watched him. He went inside his home and found that a hard disk and two USB flash drives of his desktop computer were missing. He realized that agents had opened his door with a master key and stolen those items.
Officers from the Weizhuang Town Police Station forced their way into Mr. Wang Hongliang’s home and arrested him on January 29, 2023. They did not present any credentials.
