(Minghui.org) Recently, I feel some pressure because of harassment by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials due to my faith in Falun Dafa. I thought that Dafa is about to rectify the human world soon, so why is it still so difficult? Confusion arose in my mind, accompanied by some negative thoughts. Then I had a dream that night.
In the dream, about five or six of us fellow practitioners met Master Li (Dafa’s founder). He said he would take us to a wonderful place, so we were delighted and followed along.
When we were about to enter a passageway, Master suddenly disappeared. The passage was dilapidated and damaged. There were also several big holes in the middle, which were bottomless. The good thing was that the edge of each hole still had enough space to pass with care. I hesitated at first, debating whether I should stop. Thinking it was the path that Master pointed to, I continued and quickly passed it. Looking back on the path, I realized it was in fact very short.
Going forward, I noticed the rest of the road was different again. it looked like the plastic rooftop that farmers use to grow vegetables. I touched it and noticed the steel bars that supported the structure were very thin, and they wobbled when I added pressure to it. I began to worry: Could such an unstable “road” support my weight? But since it was the path Master suggested, it should not be a problem. I stepped on it and began walking. It was actually quite a sturdy road and I finally arrived at a building.
I knew this was the place Master wanted us to come to and I was happy. Looking out of a window, I saw a huge mountain. It was so high that one could not see its top. That mountain was exceptionally beautiful.
I looked up along the steps with an ever-changing view with each step, endlessly stretching to the top. I also saw a familiar practitioner walking straight up the mountain. After she reached a certain height, however, there was no straight path and the rest of the road was looping around the mountain. This slowed her down significantly. She was the one I knew that took up cultivation after the persecution started.
After enjoying the boundless beautiful scenes for a while, I looked down. The scene stunned me to the point of being speechless. The road under was flooded, and even the overpass was underwater. There were no words to describe that miserable sight. Looking at the countless dead bodies, I was overwhelmed with sorrow. I immediately realized that had I not followed Master, I would have been among those underwater.
I gained a lot of understandings from the dream. First, as Dafa is about to rectify the human world, the remaining path is very short and there are still dangers everywhere. Those big holes, as I understand them, could be various traps: some practitioners failed to pay attention to safety and were trapped in the hole, unable to validate the Fa or carry out their duties; some indulged in their mobile phones and slacked off in their cultivation; some undermined the Fa like Master’s article “Giving Speeches Amounts to Disrupting the Fa.” There was still a path, but one must pay attention and be careful.
Second, until the last moment, there could still be tests of whether we believe in Dafa or not. We practitioners should not use our own limited understanding to doubt the Fa principles taught by Master. Because Dafa is the foundation of the cosmos, it is unimaginably vast. As cultivators practicing in this everyday society, our understanding of the Fa is indeed limited. That explains why confusion arises. But no matter how difficult, as long as we follow Master, we are walking toward success.
Third, during the period of Fa-rectification, we are able to improve and elevate so quickly because of opposing the persecution and saving sentient beings in the midst of tremendous tribulation. Once this tribulation is over, it would be very slow for a cultivator to improve in a peaceful environment. This is also normal since the law of the universe is fair. We should cherish the time when we are saving people under pressure.
Fourth, those who have not done well in Fa-rectification will have to bear the consequences. Those who died on the road could be non-practitioners; those on the overpass might be cultivators. No matter what kind of person we are, we have to meet the standards and cannot take it for granted.
During my meditation this morning, I heard thousands of troops and horses behind me, beating war drums, with the heavenly soldiers and generals rushing in. Next, I saw a long procession of the Tian Guo Marching Band. There were not only Dafa disciples but also many everyday people. At the very front, I saw a person I was very familiar with.
In any case, we practitioners should walk the last steps steadily and remain responsible to ourselves as well as to others.
