(Minghui.org) The coordinator of my local area suggested I set up a materials production site. He also told me that for safety, I should not seek help from outsiders.
He arranged for a practitioner who knows computers to help me. However, the coordinating practitioner went abroad soon after, and the technical practitioner did not show up.
While thinking about how to set up the materials production site, I noticed I held fear in my mind. I feared being arrested, I feared financial losses, and I was afraid of difficulties among a wide range of other things.
I calmed my mind and resisted these thoughts. I then went to a computer center myself to buy a computer.
I liked the computer in the store even though it was ridiculously expensive. The storekeeper told me that it was an imported original brand computer.
I told the storekeeper, “I don’t know computers and I am not going to try getting a reduced price. If you can teach me how to use it, I will buy it.” The storekeeper said, “That is easy.”
The technician installing the system asked me, “What do you want to install?” I did not know and asked back, “What would an average person want?”
He said, “Everyone’s needs are different, depending on what you want to do.” I told him, “I want to edit photos, I want to read the real things about Falun Gong on the Internet, to print out the things I like and show them to others, and I don’t want to get caught by the police. I don’t want anything like QQ or things of that nature.”
I then showed a CD to the technician and told him, “I want to use this.” The technician quietly operated for a while, and told me, “Okay. Done. Come over here and I’ll teach you.”
After I paid, the owner drove me home with the computer. The owner then asked me to operate the computer again and gave me the after-sales thank you card.
He also told me, “You don’t have to remember where to insert the plugs, they can’t be plugged in wrong. If you forget how to operate the computer, just try it your way;
if the computer gets stuck, you can call our after-sales service and they will fix it for you free of charge.” I said, “Your service is good.” He said, “For the money you have paid, the service is a must.”
I then went to buy a printer. I still told the store that I would buy it as long as they could teach me to use it.
The shop owner told me that the store would deliver the printer to my home and ensured me that I would learn to operate it right away.
They taught me the easiest way to use the printer and told me not to ask why, as long as I could use it. I followed their instructions and felt it was really easy, much easier than cooking.
After I learned how to use everything, I went online and visited the Minghui website every day. I looked at Master’s pictures, read Master’s teachings, read the news from China, read about the persecution our practitioners experienced, and read how practitioners sent righteous thoughts.
I looked inside to see if I had the same attachments, learned from practitioners to diligently send righteous thoughts, and to improve in my cultivation.
I discarded my fear of losing personal interest this way. My material production center was very small and I basically used all the material I made on time. I did not keep any stock.
This way I did not attract attention and was not persecuted. Compared with the economic losses other practitioners experienced (as reported on Minghui Website), my expense was nothing.
Most importantly, not being persecuted allowed me to focus more on my effort to help people understand Falun Gong. I also discarded my fear of being caught for visiting websites outside China.
While communicating with people, I noticed many of them were breaking through the Internet blockage and visiting websites outside China. Below are two examples.
My colleague doesn’t cultivate but he visited the Minghui website and another website every day.
The second person is a merchant. I gave him the software a few years ago to break through the internet blockade.
After the onset of the pandemic, he told me that he was no longer able to visit websites outside of China. He thus asked for a more recent software version. I gave him a new one and showed him how to operate it.
I asked him, “You don’t cultivate, why are you so anxious to visit the websites outside of China?”
He said, “I must learn the true situation outside of China. I make my business decisions based on this information.”
He said that the software had allowed him to learn the true situation in China and to catch good business opportunities in recent years.
The more I used the computer, the more proficient I became. I did not store any material on my computer, and whatever I needed I went on the Internet to search for it.
The internet is like a supermarket of information. I can find anything I need. More amazingly, my connection to the Internet was never blocked, and it was always fast.
Master said,
“Cultivation practice itself is not difficult, and neither is upgrading one’s level itself difficult. It is because they cannot give up the human mind that they call it difficult.” (Lecture Nine, Zhuan Falun)
The above is how I discarded my fear.
