(Minghui.org) Practitioners participated in the 2024 annual fair parade in San Miguel el Alto, Jalisco, Mexico on September 22. They carried a banner that read “Falun Dafa in Mexico” and demonstrated the Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) exercises. Their unique float and energetic waist drum performances were well received by parade-goers.

“We welcome Falun Dafa in Mexico, Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance,” the parade host announced as practitioners passed through the city center. The group was greeted with applause.

Practitioners demonstrated the gentle and slow exercises that were accompanied by soothing music and were greeted with applause. Many people asked for brochures that had information about Falun Dafa.

Many people asked about Falun Dafa and the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. They also thanked practitioners for participating in the parade and introducing Falun Dafa.

Paulina Torres said she was “surprised and happy” to see practitioners participating in the parade.

María del Pilar Jiménez said that the Falun Dafa group’s presentation was “very harmonious” and she appreciated learning about Falun Dafa’s guiding principles.

Mrs. Luz Maria Casillas said she was interested in joining the city’s practice site to learn how to do the exercises and cultivate.

The waist drum team performed during the parade.

Practitioners were led by the waist drum team that played the music Falun Dafa Is Good as it marched through the main streets of the city, which were lined with people who cheered their performance.

At the end of the parade, spectators thanked the practitioners for bringing Falun Dafa to their city. They asked for more information about Falun Dafa and where they could learn how to practice.

The organizers said they appreciated practitioners and the local government posted photos and videos of the Falun Dafa group in the parade on its social media.
