(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 2 provinces, where at least 5 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Tianjin] Ms. Huang Xiuying Arrested and Detained
2. [Yongji County, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Zhiwen to Be Released After Serving Four and a Half Years 
3. [Nong’an County, Jilin Province] Practitioners Feng and Yu Harassed
4. [Tonghe County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jiang Shuyuan Arrested

1. [Tianjin] Ms. Huang Xiuying Arrested and Detained

Ms. Huang Xiuying, 50, from Dongli District, was arrested by police officers in Dongli District around September 28, 2024, after being reported for distributing information about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Fengnian Village Detention Center in Dongli District. Her current situation is unknown.

2. [Yongji County, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Zhiwen to Be Released After Serving Four and a Half Years 

Mr. Sun Zhiwen from Kouqian Town of Yongji County, was arrested in April 2020 and later sentenced to four and a half years in prison. He was scheduled to be released from the Gongzhuling Prison on October 23, 2024.

3. [Nong’an County, Jilin Province] Practitioners Feng and Yu Harassed

Two officers from the Gaojiadian Police Station went to practitioner Feng’s home at 6:30 p.m. on August 21, 2024 and took some photos.

Two officers, including Cui Xiaoguang from the same police station, harassed another practitioner surnamed Yu the next day and also took some photos.

4. [Tonghe County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jiang Shuyuan Arrested

Ms. Jiang Shuyuan was arrested at home by Zhang Shiguo, head of the Tonghe County Domestic Security Division, Wang Hanfu from the Nonghe Town Police Station, and several other officers on October 15, 2024. They confiscated informational materials about Falun Gong and articles written by the founder of Falun Gong. Ms. Jiang’s other property was also ransacked. She was released a day later and has gotten back the articles written by the founder of Falun Gong.
